Such a shame that the player who carries Juventus on his shoulders, Ronaldo, screws us financially. Because this team is totally inept and lacks quality in all aspects.

De Ligt is good for us, made clutch play near the end. If i can criticize maybe one thing, his clearances should reach further before going out of bounds. Just like a long punt in NFL it's a great defensive play.

Nah, its not a matter of quality. We are still so messy in terms of management yet the team is undefeated in the league. We are definitely the team that is underperforming the most in Serie A, yet we havent even lost. The players are great, the team just needs the right coaching and time.

Our results are coming mostly due to the quality of the players, at the moment the team dynamic, the tactics, are not getting us any points.

Looks like Pirlo is having trouble finding a good combination of attackers outside of Morata and Ronaldo

Chiesa, Bernardeschi, Kulusevski can all look great but rarely do we see them combine. More often than not it’s one of them that shines with the other two not even on the field

It’s about finding a balance going forward

Also, at this point, does anyone have any faith in Dybala?

I can agree bad coaching is the biggest problem

But we would expect Juve players to overcome that, especially in easy games. I find our players quite clumsy, and rarely have i been impressed this season. Most of them aren't bad intrinsically, it's like something is broken, since Sarri days.

All I know is we no longer have the team that will grind out 1-2 goal wins. We have a team that if we put up only 1 goal, we will not win the game:

Lazio, Verona, Benevento etc.

It’s indisputable at this point. We don’t defend particularly bad, just susceptible to counter attacks far too easily. We play high but without purpose or effectiveness

This is the biggest problem for me. Before you knew that if we would go 1 goal up we win the game. Allegri, and even Sarri a bit less, would close the match very well.

Now a goal is not enough, not to my tastes for Juve. I need the team to be solid first and foremost.

To be fair to Pirlo (even though I like Max better), back then you had a much more solid defense (Lich, Bonucci, Chiellini and Evra) with Barzagli as a sub (I'm referring to the season you knocked us out of the CL).

I don't think Danilo would get a minute with those guys.

Essentially Juve under Pirlo without CR7 can't beat even Crotone and Benevento

A coach with no footballing credentials not performing

Where have i seen this before?

This Juve won't cut it, they have got to replace him if they hope to make something out of this season

I don't think Danilo would get a minute with those guys.

Yes Pirlo has been handed a rough hand in defense as everyone is injured or has covid, so today's back 4 was forced and its not ideal at all, only 1 CB playing. That said, the individual performances are for the most part not the problem in defense.

Danilo, to Pirlo's credit, has been excellent. Big player in his mixed FB/CB role. De Ligt and Cuadrado are as great as lat year. Frabotta is bench material at most at this moment, a clear weak link. Still this is enough to have a solid gameplay if the organisation is good.

We are playing a highline and very attacking football, without the solid base to build from. So its shaky when the team gets caught in counters. Normally you would have deeper understanding of the movements when falling back and spaces would be closed, but we don't have this yet. Be it due to lack of time or coaching.

Another issue for this is that Pirlo the coach doesn't have Pirlo the player. He wants Arthur to be 24 year old Pirlo where he play in front of the defense and always offer an outlet for the ball in the best manner possible. Arthur is not there yet (if he will ever be, different kind of player imo). Its why Pirlo wants Locatelli, so our play from the back is smoother.

It would serve to have a more orthodox defensive base than this back 3/4 switching in transitions with a high line. Or, if everyone at the club truly believes in Pirlo's ideas, then fuck it. Sacrifice this first half of the season to build something stronger I guess.

It does.

Less dramatic to pull off than 15/16, but it gives flashbacks of it.

Do we even have a single Argentinian left?

Or Brazillian? Don't think so, Dalbert was the last one.

He's not top player (such as Eriksen should have been...) but he:s surely good and solid, quality and quantity, tactically proper for Inter under Conte, he'd perform on our 3-5-2

Who rates De Paul for him to be overrated? He playes in lower table Serie A and isn't wanted by most fans of teams here. Would do well for the milanese teams.

Kessie (c) misses his header and sets up Romagnoli's goal.

The stars are aligned for Milan.

I always see him linked to top clubs and think "how?". Also plays for the NT over more deserving players IMO.
