The mighty have indeed fallen but not because they lost one game in a competition no one cares about in an insanely congested season. Yes I would be embarrassed if this happened to Milan, but in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't say much. It has happened to better teams than Real this season such as Atleti and Bayern.

Reminds me of the good old days of mid 2000s, Galaticos losing to division two teams in the cup and Lyons in round 16 of the CL
