Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
Really bright debut for this kid. It will be interesting to see how he develops through the season. He looks to have slotted into the team quite seamlessly, already.

Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
Feel like he could have even started. More suited to the role Phillips ended up playing, breaking from deep. But Phillips played very well and Bellingham ended up playing at least 20? So only positives.

Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
He just won the Bundesliga player of the season award. Not bad at all for a 19 year old! He's gone from strength to strength, ever since he made his debut for Dortmund at 17. Bright future ahead

Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
I’m hearing the knee surgery will not be major, just a cleaning in knee. Reason for passing up NT is taking advantage of league finish and sufficient time to have surgery and recover before start of season (at Real Madrid). Besides, no real important games for NT in this timeframe.

Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
Yea i think he's just not a CAM, sure he can score goals but he simply does not have the creativeness/vision that is required for that role, hopefully we go into a 4-3-3 next season and him being utilized more in his natural position.

He was given pain killer before game as his leg is injured. It’s not an excuse, but it is a factor.

Belligham's been tied up with defensive instructions on the left wing and his role is entirely different now.

Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
His role changes or is altered, depending on Carlo’s tactics for the game. What this shows is how adaptable he is. I definitely don’t agree with the assessment by some here that he was a disappointment yesterday, nor was Valverde. They had a particular job to do and they did it well. Unlike Rodrygo, i think everyone played well and once again, Carlo is the master at tactics. One player besides Vini who stood out for me was Dani Carvajal. He was outstanding yesterday.

Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
heatmaps have him level with Rodrygo. This was the first KO he defended on the left. That was normally Rodrygo but after we found it difficult in the away leg we defended with Bellingham there last night as he defends better than both Vini and Rodrygo. The fact of the matter is that Bellingham exhausted himself chasing lost causes and pressing on his own in the first half of the season to impress the crowd. While the rest were experienced enough to know when to press high and when to have a low block. He will probably manage it better next season but I am not sure he'll shine in the final either given he's been rested alot these past couple of monthsVibe wrote:Is anyone even watching games?

Re: Jude Bellingham Watch
The Ballon d'Or narrative was premature and a bit silly from Madrid fans and media. Since Jude's chances have all but died these past few weeks, they just hopped back on the Vinicius train now that he seems like he has the best case
Reminds me of when Chelsea fans lobbied hard for months for Kanté to win the BO only to ditch him unceremoniously after Jorginho won the Euros with Italy.
