I'm going to wait 2 weeks for the reviews. No point jumping into something that might be buggy.

That stage almost looks like an industrial skate/BMX park with all of those elevated platforms.

I just saw that the new One Piece game, of all things, currently has a 9.5 rating on Metacritic (user reviews) I remember impulsively buying one of those games during a drought, and I found it surprisingly entertaining, but I never expected that kind of Dynasty Warriors- like type of game to get a rating that high. I’m sure it will drop, though. It’s already down to 9.3.

I am very bad at it right now lol. Kinda scared tbh. Will finish it though no matter how many days it takes. I am the grinder if there was ever one after all.

Way too fast paced and shit happening all over. I'm sorry, but that looks like a mess to me.

Full disclaimer: I don't know anything about Doom and have never played it. Just commenting on the video. I might very well love the game if I tried it.

I’ve always had above average reaction time, and I tend to wish games were more fast paced than most of them are. i get a kick out of mastering «uncontrollably fast speeds» in games. That clip doesn’t look all that fast or chaotic, to me. I was actually a bit underwhelmed after I read «ludicrously fast». I imagine your eyes would hurt if that was me playing on max sensitivity setting and constantly doing 180s to look or shoot behind me Laughing

Doom looks very interesting.

We know how iconic it was originally and then Doom 3 whilst technically a spectacular looking game, focused too much on tension-built corridor based gameplay and did not please many, even if it has aged well btw.

Here it's obvious IDtech have captured what made Doom great and looks refreshingly original at the same time. If I buy it will only be single-player for me as it is with any other game but challenging video games always are just more rewarding for me, personally.

Definitely an impressive looking title.

Yes the combat loop is insanely satisfying, i think when you play it feels better than just watching it.

You kinda just get into a Rhythm of it all and adjust.
