Real Madrid v Osasuna Empty Real Madrid v Osasuna

Post by halamadrid2 Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:25 pm

Time to just rest the whole team. Osasuna have one win but at the same time have amassed 4 draws, one of them against Barca. They'll probably park the bus and hope for that single shot on target that's a guaranteed goal

Probable line up:

Tibu
Odri-Militao-Ramos-Nacho
-Lucas-Valverde-Casemiro-Vinicious
Jovic-Benz

I'd take a boring win and gradually work our way up to optimum form

We really need to rest both Casemiro and Kroos but considering our shortage of mids only one has to be dropped. If I had to choose itd be Casemiro simply because Kroos's creativity is needed in the middle.

I would also play Hazard so he continue getting into form for the rest of the season

Considering the players we have at our disposal we should try 3-4-1-2

Curtois
Militao Varane Ramos
Odriozola   Valverde  Kroos Bale
Hazard
Jovic Benzema

But that is far fetched and has never been tested, so I guess either a 4-4-2 or the same line-up as vs Sevilla but with 2 or 3 rotations.

Valverde - Casemiro double pivot
James as the AM
Vini and Hazard next to him (give Bale a break)
Jovic on top (Benz needs a break imo and we need Jovic to get going)

Defense of Carvajal - Varane - Ramos - Nacho.

I fear we might honestly not take Osasuna as seriously as we should and thus, struggle a bit.

4-0 win with Jovic scoring a hattrick imo.

This is the game where Vini and Jovic need to perform

Osasuna are not to be taken lightly either. So I hope this does not backfire

Areola>>>>Tibu

Apart from the goal Vinicious has been terrible. He plays far too scared. He needs to losen up

Loving Militao-Ramos. Varane gtfo

Odri playing well, but man he needs to slow down, not sure even he can keep up with himself

Valverde has been useless. Offers no outlet for any of our players

Jovic, still I don't see it. I prefer Mariano honestly

Give Jovic time ffs. He probably might really be underwhelming but he really is new to the team and league.

Can't say the same for Valverde. Only TMO sees something in him tbh.

Areola looks calm and confidence. The crowd cheered when he made a couple catches.

Valverde has looked good in the half. Complementing Kroos and Casemiro really well.

Yea, again Jovic looks out of place, but he is trying.

Vasquez is terrible. Rodrygo in

Jovic just looks like he's lacking confidence, from what I can tell. As long as he's trying, I have no qualms with him. He's missing the type of chances that he made his breakthrough by scoring, so I'm guessing we've yet to see what he's capable of. Just as I write that, he scores to make it 2-0 Smile

Nevermind, ruled offside. Still 1-0.

I really, really don't understand the nitpickiness of these, recent offside calls. Surely, 1-2cm offside is reasonable to ignore? The surgical precision of these calls is a bit too much, I think.

Great debut by Rodrygo ffs. Excellent first touch, dribbles his marker, clean finish into the far bottom. 2-0.

Areola looks much more confident than Tibu and it makes it easier for the defence

Militao with a MOTM performance, it really is time to say goodbye to Varane in the starting line up. Ramos and Militao compliment eachother to perfection. Getting Pepe vibes from Eder

Nice cameo by Rodrygo

Onto the next one

Militao ffs. What a signing. So far I'd say Mendy and Militao have been the best of the summer signings so far. Areola very confident.

Jovic..... I'm left with disappointment (again) but the season is still young so I hope he finds his way

Militao was very good, aggressive, got after ball and not back peddling or being indecisive, hope he keeps it up get another start soon.

ordi looks much better when he isn't trying all that that extra shit, who would thought it?

Vini is meh so slow on the ball and just turning it over, no need to cry over a goal against osasuna lad, it things like that is why he is gonna struggle, rodrygo scored his goal and was like whatever its osasuna.

Kroos why is he shooting so much? How about trying to find a pass for Jovic? All the back and sideway passes as always, OK game.

Casemiro solid game just defend and move the ball quickly that what he is best at.

Valverde OK game not match fit yet.

Jovic trying too hard to live up to that pure 9 scorer bs, and is over thinking things, since it was made up by the media and fans, can't blame him though once he settles his nerves and not delude himself into thinking he can bench benzema this season, he will come through he is the future, benzema gonna leave this season or next.

the team needs to play through the cf more often to keep them involved and not isolated for such long stretches just running around aimlessly, doesn't matter who the forward is it same thing, just like I said.

Can’t believe my son scored. Should get all of Lucas’s minutes.

Lucas ending the game with the most atrocious set of dribbling ever was too much for me
