Tbh I think that article might be written by a salty Spurs fan or one of @Frenzy's cronies.

Despite I detest the fact that he's joining Inter of all teams, it must be really hurting for a team like Spurs who have played at a far superior level than Inter over the past few years only to see one of their best players end up joining them.

Tbh I'm a bit surprised he's joining Inter. It's a big move for them obviously and recent results have strongly increased their appeal but I'm a bit surprised neither any other big team came in or him nor Eriksen chose to see out his contract so he would have more number of interested suitors come summer.

The former frontman was thought to have the potential to scale such heights.
He enjoyed a productive career in Europe, representing the likes of Midtylland, Mainz, Hamburg and Dortmund.

Salah was a teenager who still played in Egypt when Zidan (back then in his late 20s to early 30s) played for Dortmund

Young was not good enough for manure so he definitely won't be good enough for inter

Anyone else think that the winter window has become pointless and totally unexciting? Should be scrapped, imo.

Maybe it has, I just seem to remember that 5-10 years ago there would still be some meaningful transfers in January. Now it all seems like loans and unwanted players switching clubs.

I mean, I get it. Spina has quite a few injury problems and that gave Conte pause. Some of my fellow Romanisti seem to believe that Inter are dishonorable for backing out of this, but honestly I don't see a problem. We were clearly getting the better end of the deal given Politano doesn't have the same fitness issues. It just wasn't going to work so both sides backed out and moved on. Good on Conte for asking for further due diligence and good on Petrachi for bending over backwards to try and make this work then knowing when to step back. No harm done imo.

After years listening to Marotta I can respond with two words he loves: "market opportunities". Paying little for out of place players that previously showed quality. They believe they can energize them. Given that Conte is there, it is likely true that they can. Low risk transfers in the January window.

Lukaku : Lukaku is a great CF.  I prefer him over Icardi .. Not been brilliant in his experience in Manchester (I'd say also it's normal underperforming under Solskjaer)    but anyway we were talking  about the only player with Aguero to have got double cyphre of goals in Premier League for last 7 seasons. Not by chance United and Chelsea have fought each other to get him.
It wasn't strange to desire him imo, and he is demonstrating why now

- Ashley Young. here yeah, it sounds strange why a club wants to sign Ashey Young in 2020
Anyway we need of an option for short term on that role, our fullbacks aren't so good, especially on left side, so we 've gone on him. Nor more neither less , this offers January

- Moses . Same thing basically.
It's even less "relevant", why we are going to replace a bencher on right side ( the starter is Candreva and we're trying to ampliate the depth). Lazaro is not good even for easy matches , at least Moses was a valid soldier under Conte, he is Europa League winner, so you hope he's useful.
Young have good chances to be starter , Moses should be a bencher and starting in Europa League imo.

- Giroud. Our target as vice-Icardi.
Everyone knows who is Giroud, perhaps he can't start on high levels but still he is a valid bencher, especially for who hasn't a vice-CF. He is manna from heaven in these conditions

- Eriksen. Our real target.
Well , no need to add words ...... He'd be great for most teams in the world....
