You can actually cash in on your fantasy knowledge. I don't gamble, but my friends do and we hang out at a betting place often. So I see one friend gambling on whether a player will score more or less points than his average or something near that, whatever the bookies decide.
So I think this is my thing, let's give it a go. And I put down my fantasy team that played that night, and I know my boys so I got all right. Unfortunately I also added Towns for some reason, to score over 25 and he scored just 21, despite taking 20 shots.
But that would have been almost 800 euros earned from 1.5 euros I invested. I really dislike gambling, but I found this interesting and will try again probably. I analyze numbers anyway, why not try to make something of it.
Hey that's cool, man. Just remember that Hans pays 10€ for a blowjob (receiving OR giving) when it eventually comes to it. Have fun betting, dude!

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
Wish I managed to trade Bryant to one of you guys. He's out for 3 weeks with an injury out of nowhere
This season is wild injury wise. Not even injuries like this either. My bigger problem is like the 3 or 4 players who will miss one or two games randomly in the middle of the week for "soreness" or "illness" or load management or something. You can't replace those games with another player because they just get the GTD or O tag. Sucks.
At least if Bryant is gonna be out injured I can replace those games with another player.

Load management is the new culture, justified by Kawhi winning the championship while doing it. Guys now get rested for nagging injuries whereas in previous eras they would play through them. I've missed three straight games from Richardson due to hamstring tightness, missing a game from Dragic for some groin tightness tonight. If it was the playoffs, these guys would be playing, but because it's some thirteen-in-a-dozen regular season games they just sit out.

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
Just proves that NBA season has too many games. There is no reason for Goran fking Dragic to be missing a game for a little bit of tightness.
You don't see this happen in the EPL unless they really are sick or that tightness really is concerning.
I'm all for player health, and so I think it's good players are doing this. But from a product standpoint for the NBA it's a problem, and I have always thought the length of the NBA season is too long so I feel a bit justified (although I think everyone knows it's too long games wise)

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
No matter how many games there are these injuries will still happen lol. None of my injuries have been because of people playing too much.
Also NBA players play what, 20 minutes every 2-3 days on average. That's not that much.
Goran Dragic has no reason to miss time? He's turning 34 soon. That's really old for a PG. It's expected that he would miss time at this point.
___
Also load management isn't a new culture lol. Kawhi is just chronically injured and he's too fragile emotionally to let anyone mention it publicly, which is why all this shit started to begin with.
Like, is any relevant player other than him really having load management?
All stars in the league have played 80 games without problems for decades. Modern medicin, preparations are getting better all the time.
Day to day injuries are normal really. It's nothing new and it's common in every sport where people play at this level. Wouldn't change with limiting the amount of games.

tbf Dragic has had a past of injury layoffs, so it would actually just be an act of caution to take it easy a bit if there's a bit of tightness

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
CP3 and Montrez for Paul George basically
Best i can afford currently. Capela or Ayton would make this trade a pure scam. And i'm not really willing to trade my top shooters, so i felt it was generous enough. No time for a panic move despite the recent shit results.

The only player on my team I would never trade is Rozier, in the shadow of Devonte so no one pays attention but quietly shooting nice percentages and gets a bit of everything.

Re: GL NBA fantasy 2019/20
I was just joking, at first i said Mitchell, it was too unrealistic so i edit for Smart. Not particularly shopping him, the fairest 1v1 trade i can think of would be Jeff Teague, however it does not excite me much. Isaac ?
Very surprising move to drop Ibaka tbh, someone will pick him up and get reliable help for a depth player, meanwhile Kris Dunn will be back on waivers within 2 weeks.
