It ends in October. Barca, Juve, Sassuolo, Dortmund.

Couldn't watch any matches since I'm in berlin. Watching the extended highlights now it looks like Inter destroyed Milan as expected. Happy to see us win again and with heavy rotations.

He's clearly behind the ball when D'Ambrosio is shooting, isn't he

Calcio Saga 19/20 - Page 26 Screen14

How can this be offside? Where was VAR? What is this nonsense?

DAZN said it was because of D'Ambrosio offside
Still strange but I trust in VAR technology.
It will be surely matter of  very few cm, third time VAR deletes us a goal in derby because of this reason , but that's the rule

Just as I expected, Roma facing seemingly their toughest challenge this season versus Bologna and HT so far in a cagey match.

Napoli up 0-2 via Insigne and Llorente who's scored 2 goals in 59' for Napoli.

@And above video proves Godin needs to start more given he is in the final legs of his career and cannot be wasted on the bench especially in the Champions League.

in fact no idea why he has't begun against Slavia..

About the giant Basque Fernando Llorente, I expected he'd have been useful ( I wanted to sign him for Inter) but I didn't even believe so much. I watch also Elmas amd I need to remember when it was last time Napoli have mistaken a signing

& Kolarov scores with a more measured curved freekick from 25 yards that veers beautifully away from Bologna's GK.

Brilliant.

Honestly who hasn't thought Kolarov is going to score after that free kick? It is as a penalty kick for him.. and in fact
Idiotic to concede a free kick on that position..
Anyway Bologna equalized immediately, Kolarov from hero to zero

Straight after it being 1-1 via a Kolarov conceded penalty, Pau Lopez, a highly underrated and growing import from Betis saves Roma with a save from point blank range.

Game's tempo is rising rapidly.

Mancini sent off wrongfully via second yellow for an idle arm that grazes Fernando Santander who makes a thorough meal of it at the edge of the box.

Foolish by the young CB but very wrong call by Pairetto, a referee that I dont rate at all.

1-2 Roma in the 93rd minute and final minute.

New and relatively untested signing Veretout makes a surging run from the middle of the field past two players and finds an active Pellegrini on the right side outside of the box who curls in an accurate cross to Dzeko to head it past the GK and win them the game.

What a brilliant counter-attack and show of nerves from Roma who lost a lead and were 10 men down after. Brilliant play.

Dzeko now has 5 goals in 6 games with 2 assists whilst Pellegrini 4 assists in his last 2 Serie A games.

Roma did look quite good against Bologna even if their defence suffered at times from skilled players like Orsolini and Sansone but in possession they look increasingly comfortable in Fonseca ball that is clicking together very nicely.

Mkhitaryan is slotting in very comfortable each game under Fonseca and did as such when he came on in the second half.
Pellegrini is thriving in the advanced-role freedom given to him whilst Dzeko is finally focusing and giving back the faith instilled onto him and has likely been Roma's best player this season so far.

Very entertaining side to watch overall.

Lecce-Napoli ends 1-4. A brace by Llorente the highlight; one with his left one with his right. 3 goals in a game and a half by the CF and Carlo not just using him as a targetman.

Napoli with their only loss from Juventus thanks to Koulibaly's last minute own goal otherwise would be level on points rather than a point down but a successful start to the season by Carlo's Napoli.

Thanks, I see.
It didn't show this VAR image in my highlights

Another instance that one could argue should fall under a default margin of error, as we've discussed in the PL thread

Having never heard of Elmas before, I was super impressed by him vs Samp.

How was he today?

Yeah who is doing the DoF work for Napoli? Their squad building has been low key fantastic over quite a few years, it seems?
Only CF position a problem area, maybe?

The young GK looks amazing

Bigon pre-2015 and Giuntoli since. Both have done a top job taking Napoli through the lower divisions to the CL. The whole management is am example of a well functioning structure. I've written this before, for all his clownery and insufferable media personality, ADL has done an amazing job. Picking the right people and letting them work. From coaches to DoFs and scouts.

The GK is Alex Meret. A youth star in all levels, early debut with Udinese, won Serie B with SPAL on loan, GK of the U21 team. Linked between us and Napoli until we solved our GK situation with Szczesny. IIRC Milan tried to get him but Napoli had more pull and paid the 30-40m for him.

Had strong injuries so there was fear that he would be next Perin. Came back from them so far.

Yesterday your club 've won the derby.

Today imagine to win 155 euro overally after 2 sporting betting where you 've spent just 6 euro because Atalanta have tied their match on 95' , when they're losing 0-2 on 84'

Timothy Castagne my hero

lol atalanta gives u healthy returns XD
but on serious note, Timothy Castagne is the best RWB i have seen in a long time, and nothing to do with this game as i didn't watch Atalanta Fiorentina but he is so good with his surging runs, great in defending, its very difficult to get past him and his link up play overall is perfect.

fav. RWB, RB in serie a atm... no one close to him
he just came back from bad injury too so its good to see him getting back to games

I don't know Verschaeren tbh , are you Belgian Jesp ?
Yes Castagne is so good but I say same also about Hateboer.
The only doubt about him is that Atalanta RBs should be rated out of Gasperini system who develop mainly these type of players
Anyway he is my hero now so he is better than Brehme Maldini R.Carlos together

nah im from Japan though, i keep eye on players from Netherlands, Belgium, Italy a lot ..
yea gasperini system likes to have players like castagne a flexibility to be more than just traditional RB

he seriously is a great player castagne, i like hateboer too but tbh on their day atalanta has players who just stop being individuals even though they do have individual qualities and click so well as a team ... well enjoy the castagne investment returns Very Happy
