Yes Castagne is so good but I say same also about Hateboer.
The only doubt about him is that Atalanta RBs should be rated out of Gasperini system who develop mainly these type of players
Anyway he is my hero now so he is better than Brehme Maldini R.Carlos together

nah im from Japan though, i keep eye on players from Netherlands, Belgium, Italy a lot ..
yea gasperini system likes to have players like castagne a flexibility to be more than just traditional RB

he seriously is a great player castagne, i like hateboer too but tbh on their day atalanta has players who just stop being individuals even though they do have individual qualities and click so well as a team ... well enjoy the castagne investment returns Very Happy

seeing that game though fiorentina had a hell of a goal coming from ribery from chiesa assist and chiesa himself scoring one but fiorentina cocked up big time in defense both times on atalanta goals

montella days are numbered for sure...

Hateboer is a product of Gasperini's tactics imo. He interprets them well and is serviceable, but otherwise shines because of the system. Castagne is the really interesting player, next big move out of Atalanta (if they hold on to Zapata).

Praet only has the name recognition from the leftover youth hype. Unremarkable player.

lol i disagree on praet he was one of those player that made sampdoria looked like giant killers at times... his passing and defense splitting passes were great to see, but just when things were going well and getting consistent games for him i think he made a wrong move to EPL or saying at sampdoria wouldn't have helped much

i would take him at milan anyday ahead of the likes of calhanouglu / kessie / biglia

2-2 Fiorentina-Atalanta was unlucky for Montella's side that does not tell the story to their poor start of the season. Where once again Viola were dominant but their defence continues to fail them.

Chiesa clearly is an understudy to Ribery and I do not rate him like others for all his ingenious skill his decision making is awful.

Speaking of Ribery he scored his first goal and a beautiful one to catch up with a cross from the right, whilst on the run and blasts it with one touch with his left foot and celebrates with utter ferocity. Beautiful goal. Been very good for Fiorentina so far.

AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano will be making joint presentation on concept design of a new stadium

More can be followed live on https://www.nuovostadiomilano.com/en

So far both clubs has asked for two major architectural firm - Progetto CMR and Populous to come  up with design. Populous are the firm who also designed the newly opened Tottenham stadium

Additionally there has been some circulating news that both clubs has jointly submitted required dossier to have it approved but the major stumbling problem is milan mayor at this point it seemingly not wanting both clubs to build new stadium and wanting them to stay in san siro which from both sporting and economic aspect i would say both clubs has made the right choices.

We will hear more from clubs and media about the developments in coming weeks

Love the optimism our Jesp is showing here but my forthcoming cynicism that will be shared by other Milanisti here on this project, is warranted.

The political problem over the stadio in Milano, whilst not as bad as in Roma or Napoli is just endless and both teams are dealing with some well fed bureaucrats who like in 2017 if not countless times before that, will not let this go through unless paid under the table.

Hard to pay attention to it but we can dream, amigo.

We play Brescia tonight. Ramsey might start as AM in a 4312, new system for this match is likely. Alex may get a rest so Danilo and Cuadrado would be FBs. De Ligt is brought back into the lineup. Dybala should start with Higuain. Interesting match.

Balotelli debuts in Serie A with Brescia.

Well despite he's a tragic coach he had won both derbies, with an aggregate score 5-2 and that Milan was a stronger team than Inter.
Milan's last victory in the league  against Inter was in 31 January 2016.
Our unbeaten run is long for 7 derby now,  currently the  longest negative (*without wins) streak got by Milan in derby are 10   between 1994 and 1999.

Sarri rotating out Ronaldo. The man has balls of steel.

Doesn't he know that these are the games Ronaldo needs to pad his stats?

Szczesny aside  , nice match from everyone. Unlucky not to be winning even after conceding that goal.

Good match by Brescia. Tonali should come home soon.

0/10 for the ref, awfully refereed match.

Ramsey, Dybala, Khedira, Pjanic and Cuadrado very bright. The CBs were perfect. Alex Sandro has his first disappointing game. Rabiot clearly off form, it makes sense that we see more Matuidi and Benrancur.

The passing through the middle was super nice with Ramsey and Dybala. Dybala motm slightly.

Brescia is great, no problems for them to stay in Serie A. Definitely play better than a lot of teams. Tonali was huge, Donnarumma is on fire, Balotelli was very good. Their CBs are pretty good too.

A baptism in fire. Zapata again in hot form along with Papu as well. Ilicic is always dangerous. The only real let off is Muriel is injured.

Rooting for Smalling though. I'm just glad to see Florenzi backing in an attacking position now that Spinazzola is fit again.

Conceding against this Atalanta

Just tuned in. How has Smalling been and based on today what can regular watchers see him adding to the line-up?

Glad to see Florenzi finally not in a defensive role for once.

Smalling >>>> Jesus of course and from tonight it's clear that he should be the starter at least until Mancini is available again. He was fine.

Spinazzola was having a top game. His injury hurt Roma a lot in this match (replaced by Jesus).

Zaniolo destroyed the backline on a breakaway and did everything right except scoring. Took too long to shoot when he should have just scored.

Very entertaining match. Zapata continues to dominate and Papu has been on all match, so that always means a good match from Atalanta.

Grazie Rincon.

And glad to hear as I've predicted Smalling will be huge for Roma if he is used properly and can stay fit and in the 20 mins I saw, despite the miserable loss its clear he is a solid presence there as if that is disputed, even within those 20 mins Juan Jesus aka the worst CB in Serie A currently, is getting worse by the year.

That comment does describe Zaniolo who in the end is not a natural presence inside the box despite his neat finishes as it is, so not surprise.

Spinazzola I too rate and highly though more so since he is so complete and seeing all his games in Roma so far he has been thoroughly convincing.

First loss for Roma this season including no goal to a 19/20 Atalanta and at home is inexcusable so will wait to hear what went wrong, in the whole game.

Honestly, well deserved win from Atalanta. They are never easy to play against and that 2nd half is exactly why.

I do think Spinazzola's injury ruined the groove we were in, the game turned sour quickly from there.

We just didn't take our chances and Atalanta took enough of theirs. This is a brutal run of games we're in so this is the one I'm not surprised we didn't take points from. On to Lecce where we should hopefully rebound nicely.
