Neymar headed the same direction...
... as many Brazilian striker stars unfortunately.
Excessive drinking, lack of professionalism, diva behavior and just overall nonsense that is undoubtedly going to take its toll very very quickly.
Latest issue is a drunken escapade with a some girl he met online... and she's now looking to extort him (imo).
Guy has a 10 cent head on his shoulders unfortunately. His talent is astounding; but he's peaked and on his way down.
He's not leaving PSG because he's getting paid a ton, can do whatever he wants and parties without consequence. That's his ambition. Lost captaincy of Brazil NT recently too.

And it's not like PSG are actually making the situation difficult for him to be a melt. They have honestly spoiled their employee in the worst fashion.

True. But just because you have the opportunity to be a complete jerk doesn't mean you have to be one...

Don't wanna hate, but spending your prime in Ligue 1 isn't the way to be memorable, partying or no partying.

He could have become the next big thing after Messi/Ronaldo at Barca, the football he played in winter 2015 was pretty much young Messi level. Incredible waste of talent due to low IQ.

It's a shame for fans that he likely won't get the most out of his talent, but I honestly don't blame him for wanting to have fun outside of football while he's still young.

While you're not wrong i find the timing of this to be weird considering how well he handled the rape allegations.
He should probably be praised rather than criticized, at least in the short term.

I think the rape allegations are a complete scam...
But he's in a position where he has to handle these things "well" because he leaves the club during the season to party. He's missed countless games the past two seasons, not only due to injury, but due to "personal" time off... which involved going somewhere to party almost every time.
I wouldn't even mind him partying like a madman if he was a professional when the time comes. But he's not!
I'm a firm believer of not putting yourself in a position where bad shit could happen to you.

A lot of people do things for more money... in fact, most everyone does in their work careers. What's wrong with that? Absolutely nothing.
Being a professional applies whether you make $100 or $1 million.

Neymar is in trouble. The woman went to a hospital after the incident. The medical report shows that she had suffered a lot of trauma.
Not good.

Nothing in this article puts Neymar under blame
Gastric problems and loss of weight... come on. Maybe the bruises is suspect but she may have a lot of partners. Not only Neymar.

nothing wrong with making money if course, but taking a step down in your career for money when you are entering peak clearly shows us where his priorities are.sportsczy wrote:BarrileteCosmico wrote:It's nice you realized this sports, but it was obvious once he left barca for nothing more than money...

Re: Neymar headed the same direction...
Taking more money and going to an organization that is a contender (a legit one) in the same competitions.... is not a step down. It's logical.
He also left to get away from the shadow of Messi or he would have stayed.
My complaint is that he left to be "the man" yet does nothing to take that next step.
