It's a shame for fans that he likely won't get the most out of his talent, but I honestly don't blame him for wanting to have fun outside of football while he's still young.

I think the rape allegations are a complete scam...

But he's in a position where he has to handle these things "well" because he leaves the club during the season to party.  He's missed countless games the past two seasons, not only due to injury, but due to "personal" time off... which involved going somewhere to party almost every time.

I wouldn't even mind him partying like a madman if he was a professional when the time comes.  But he's not!

I'm a firm believer of not putting yourself in a position where bad shit could happen to you.

nothing wrong with making money if course, but taking a step down in your career for money when you are entering peak clearly shows us where his priorities are.

Taking more money and going to an organization that is a contender (a legit one) in the same competitions.... is not a step down. It's logical.

He also left to get away from the shadow of Messi or he would have stayed.

My complaint is that he left to be "the man" yet does nothing to take that next step.
