Apparently the Lunin loan deal to Vallalodid is happening (Ronaldo’s team - same club that Kubo and Sanchez have already been lent).

That means that the story yesterday re Navas to PSG as part of a Neymar deal is BS.

Next, to replace Perisic, Milan are after either James or Isco plus as well Rodrigo is going to Atleti, so Atleti have given up on signing James. Bottom line means one of James or isco will go.

Plus there is very active shopping for Mariano which likely means he departs shortly.

That’s all of the excess players except for Bale on the way out!

And Bale with no offers, refusing to consider any exit under any form, plus his performance the other day and Zidane saying some relative good words about him yesterday, it looks like he stays.  PLUS with Zidane not being able to establish an alternative lineup and lack of any effective player at RW, Bale might just have gotten a starting position back!

What a dramatic revamping of team!!!

Same old, crappy midfield, relying on Bale and Benzema again, a defense that is showing more decline this preseason, all of them, than the midfield and no reserve DM. But we do have a better bench if only Zidane would use them!

Actually my hope is that Zidane uses the team B exclusively in Copa play as it is the only trophy we have a chance at this season!

@Hans - I'm frustrated and disappointed. I guess I’m like Mole. I missed a lot of games last season and I can make better use of my time without getting frustrated. I'm not giving them up, I just plan to take a pause to see if the proxima will look any brighter.

back on topic, looks like the loan of Kubo didn't happen and Rodrygo has hamstring injury out for a few weeks.

I think club wants these two close by and they might just help to get Castilla up a level which , at level 2 futbol vs 3, will be more conducive to advance development of the talent in system.

only league games, CL and cup games aren't included but you have first refusal on these

standing season ticket in the south curve is only 150€, 17 home games

In all seriousness I think the transfers are a wrap. No way I see us going for neymar without breaking wage structure and not offloading Bale and his massive wage. Same goes for Pogba.

All we can do now is hope the old guard finds their form and new signings/young players competing. It's a long shot but it's the way it's going to be.

I am really disappointed in the lack of MF signings.

I guess that the failed transfers of James and Bale are at fault here.  Let's hope we grab a good midfielder by the end of the window.
