Palace relegated Cardiff today so Brighton will play with no intensity.

There's plenty going on today, besides the top four race.

There will be 200 flags in the Clock End to be waved before the game, as part of efforts to improve the atmosphere. Fan groups have been working hard on this. They were behind the mosaic before the Valencia game and have been trying to get an "Allez" chant going.

After the game, there'll be a lap of appreciation from the first team, the u18s who won the Premier Division South, and the women's team, who won the WSL for the first time since 2012 last week. Then there'll be a guard of honour for Petr Cech and Aaron Ramsey.

Hopefully we'll win today so all this can happen in peace.

With Chelsea winning and Spurs' GD being much better than ours, anything less than a win today means our top four chances will be over.

We really need a big win to give ourselves the best chance. I just fear our backline will leak a couple of goals again.

We just made Brighton look like an elite attacking team with that period of play. Keeper gave it away, defenders were falling over, and couldn't clear the ball further than 10 yards.

Comical. Could have given 2 penalties away as well in that move. No one taking charge. Half the players appealing offside. No one clearing it purposefully.

They're so nervous back there. Our defence isn't in control at the best of times, but the stakes here seem to be making them even worse.

We made some good chances after the goal, at least. I feel like goals are there for us.

I would be very annoyed by this sort of performance vs this level of opponent but we played on Thursday so as long as we win

Don't think our shape has helped so far. Auba and Laca have to pull out into the wide spaces constantly to compensate for Mkhi/Ozil's movement inside, and for having two full backs in their 30s. Feels like the players have to do too much to make the system work. Everything is so lopsided.

We are playing 4-4-2 with budget wingers. It's either strikers there or CAMs. There is no balance anywhere on the pitch
