Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
lmao RG
I can't begin to describe how much this itches me to play San Andreas again
last computer game I binged on
drive an Infernus from San Fierro to Las Venturas in the sunset, listening to Free Bird
but all the trouble to get to that point, I don't have my savegames anymore

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
Leno; Maitland-Niles, Mustafi, Sokratis, Kolasinac; Mkhitaryan, Torreira, XHAKA, Iwobi; Lacazette, Aubaemayng
Subs: Cech, Koscielny, Mavropanos, Elneny, Guendouzi, Willock, Nketiah
Ozil and Monreal miss out due to injuries.
Looks like 442 today.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
Why arent we using our youth players? Our young wingers who are doing well?
Because it seriously cant get worse than what we see with Michki and Iwobi.
We look so clueless, Laca getting free, then running straight into the opposition when XHAKA and Kola were on his left, free. Emery needs to start making big boy decisions, because there doesn't seem to be improvement or intelligence whenever we play

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
Average players playing in a negative set-up, away from home where we've been shit for two years? Yeah, not surprised by this in the least.
Nobody out there has the ability or confidence to drag us through this, either. The collective has to do it, but I just can't see it. Too many players on the brink of making a mistake.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
He won't do it because points wise we're not out of it, but yeah, three losses in a row means we're pretty much done in the league, so might as well rotate as much as we can. Give Willock and Nketiah starts against Brighton and get the likes of Saka and John-Jules on the bench.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
Felt like the players have given up as well and all their attention is on the EL.
Big big test that.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
There's no point in hoping that BOTH Chelsea and Man Utd drop enough points. It's done, concentrate on the EL and I'd rather watch the likes of Saka/Amaechi than these clowns anyway.

Last time we had Wenger making the decisions.
Our transfers last summer were good, just that we needed more and didn't have the budget. Having CL money + Adidas new deal guarantees a greater budget.
Although Sven is now gone so who knows if Raul will bring more Denis Suarez' to the club.

Just adjusting my expectations back to 2012 levels
when I would have taken Sigurdsson!

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
I'm more concerned about the amount of changes that need to be made to the squad.
It's a rotten squad, lacking in fortitude as well as quality. I can tolerate average players who give their all, but we don't even have those.
Mustafi, Monreal, Elneny, and Mkhitaryan shouldn't be here next season. Kolasinac and Iwobi shouldn't be starters but could perhaps be backups to better players. If someone actually wants Ozil, we should take that as well.
Then we need to get a backup keeper, a starting centre back (Holding won't be back for a while, Mavropanos needs a loan), a starting left-back, replacements for Ramsey, Welbeck and possibly Ozil, and a winger/attacker. Think we'll be lucky to get even half of that.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
Sokratis vs Ben Mee on the goal line.......
We need to get rid of Mustafi, XHAKA, Iwobi.
The connection between defence and attack is just one player that usually is XHAKA but he cannot play ground balls, all he does is aerial ball which none of our forward players are able to hold because of their timid(non physical) nature so thats almost of no use at all.
Players we need in starting 11 are at CB. LB. CM. AMF. LWF. Then various squad players as well.
And this with our standards is too much for even 2 windows.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
If the United-Chelsea game finishes 1-1
We will be 5th and 2 points behind Chelsea for 4th.
Chelsea have watford at home and Leicester away. we have Brighton at home and Burnley away.
Our GD is more or less the same.
Basically we just need Chelsea to draw/lose one of the two and for us to win both of ours.
