Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
fine performance given circumstances
closed central space ,Torreira on maddison,Guendouzi on Tielemans and Mesut on Ndidi and forced them to go wide and play early hopeful crosses
still ran into trouble and gave ball away couple of times but have got away with it

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
I really don’t think any team in England would fail to beat us home or away right now on their day. The best we can hope for is draws against the bottom teams and marginal losses versus everyone else. Emery is going to get us relegated. We’ve been playing like Stoke for weeks.
It’s not all him, the players are playing like shit too, but get Emery the fuck out of this club.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
50th minute was the time where Emery could have just made one change and the game would have been ours. But he didn't and that was it.
We actually played well most of the match. But the game was crying for Pepe to come on. lacazette delivered one of the worst performances in our history. He had no right to be on the pitch after half time.
Emery is a coward

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
Leicester controlled the match from beginning to end and got a deserved 2-0 win.
Arsenal weren't terrible but were frequently having to defend on the edge of their box, make last ditch blocks and clearances, and showed some promise on the break maybe every ten minutes or so. They made one meaningful chance throughout the whole game. They managed only one shot after the 53rd minute and two whole shots in the second half! If I could sum up Emery's time at the club, that'd be how.
Here's the thing: Arsenal are rocking up to Leicester with a back five, playing defensively and hoping to hit them on the counter. Leicester are a cool team and have better midfielders than Arsenal right now, and a good striker, and a great defensive record, so I'm not knocking them. But it sure is indicative of Arsenal's demise that this is the state of affairs now. Leicester are comfortably a better team than Arsenal - and it took them less than six months to get there with a fraction of the investment.

Seems more like the face you make when you are clueless.
Just read that Emery confirmed he has Sanllehi’s full support.

Like RG said on Twitter, Emery is way too pessimistic in his approach. A real coward in his footballing approach.

Re: Leicester Vs Arsenal
Emery’s biggest mistake imo is playing to his side’s weaknesses rather than its strengths. It’s the same mistake that Wenger made towards the end. Our defence is too weak to keep teams out so setting up not to concede is just never going to work. I would rather watch us be brave, playing exciting football and conceding cheap goals than being garbage in every department. The longer Emery is in charge, the more I fall out of love with this team.
