The Demon of Carthage wrote:I took your statement at face value, Thimmy and assumed that he injected himself with the hormones without a doctor's help or supervision. Is that what you meant? Because if so, then it's not really a surprise that the whole thing backfired on him.
I never knew him, "Pham" personally. He's probably 5-10 years older than me, and his mere presence scared me shitless when I was a kid. He and his brother appeared out of nowhere when I was with my friends at a basketball camp at the age of 12 or 13. There was a wall with a huge ruler on it to measure peoples' height, and he and his brother seemed to casually appear to inflate their own egos, or something. Pham was a member of a criminal gang, back when they still existed in Norway, or at least when they were still known to the public. As far as I know, they all dissolved or were shut down by the police during the early 2000s.
Pham had apparently been part of a gang since he was just a kid, and I talked to a person a couple of years ago who referred to Pham as perhaps the most powerful person who has lived in the area surrounding the small town where I grew up. He was a physically imposing guy, who apparently did a lot of "dirty work" for his gang, and I've been told that many people who remember him from back then, still fear him today - although I know a guy who works in the mental hospital that he's been in an out of for over a decade now. Apparently, he submits himself to their care willingly.
I can't confirm that he used HGH, but he did use anabolic steroids, and people who knew him claim that HGH was one of the drugs he abused from an early age. Somehow, I doubt he did so under the supervision of a doctor. I certainly imagine he had the funds and contacts to obtain such drugs illegally, but I can't confirm any of it. The height disparity between him and his older brother definitely can't be natural. I was about the same height as his brother when I saw him at the basketball camp. Drugs are bad, man.

goat or not, when you reach 35 you are finished. mother nature is cruel.
He's been decline for multiple seasons now, he's nowhere near what he was when he was 25.
It's just his decline is very minor aspects to his game which isn't noticeable and he's still the best in the world.
You won't probably ever see an obvious gone off the deep end decline for a long time.

I didn't expect anything different from rich mans Higuain. Let's see what he does on the big stage on Wednesday. Early curtains imofutbol wrote:Mehdrid are in trouble now that Missi digivolved to GOATessi again after his minor niggling injury woes.

I don't think he will ever be that good but he's already better than Dembélé is while being 4 years younger.RealGunner wrote:Vinicius has all the tools to be a monster

Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
Finishing and final ball is probably the last thing youngsters develop, it takes experience to get the hang of that, and knowing yourself and what works best for you. It's why some strikers would rather dribble around the goalie, others would rather chip or go for a lob, some would rather shoot on the far post and others place at the near post.
It's not a coincidence, it's what theyve worked on and are most comfortable with. I dont expect someone in their teens to already have that developed.

Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
So after the distraction of Clasico week, forgot to tell Jay that he'll find no more happiness in Sevilla unless they win Europa League...again. I saw that loss and I must say, I celebrated with Huesca fans as well, it was kinda contagious tbh.
Also, VAR taking so long to make up their minds on Sevilla's PK had a direct hand in Huesca's equaliser.

Yeah, he once again ran from the forum until we start being successful again or Benzema starts being successful again. Probably back to the loving arms of Big Soccer (which is still around).
Also, Raul de Tomas is doing more to Barcelona than anyone of our forwards. Sigh.
