Hattrick for Messi.
What a brilliant player. But Sevilla could've gotten something out of this had they been a little less clumsy.

Honestly this score doesn't do Barça's poor football justice. This is the worst I've seen them since Tata Martino days.
Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
Machin screwed up with his subs. When Promes and Navas had to drop to wing back, he needed Silva or Munir on to support Ben Yedder. Instead he brought on Mesa, which just encouraged Sevilla to sit deeper while having no outlet. Also have no idea what Vazquez was supposed to offer out there.
Same old story vs Barca, though. Sevilla can only win if Messi isn't playing.

Why the hell did Sevilla loan out Sergio Rico to Fulham? Vaclík looks shite.

I've never heard a commentator as insufferable as him.
I'm not sure you understand how ingenious, and exceptional, and integral to the goal that followed, it was that Rakitic chose a slightly safer option when he could also have played to other players. That's the true secret to the Barcelona way IMO

Can't wait till we get rid of that fraud midget so that we can play an actual Cruyffian football and compete for Europa league spot.

I wasn't impressed with Barça at all in this game. They have won 4-2 on a difficult ground, but the football they played was atrocious.
Ultimately, it was the magic of Messi that saved the day for them. The day he retires, we'll be competing on a level playing field again. But as long as he's wearing your color, the competition is unfair

What the fuck are you on? Barca is absolutely star studded team with match winners in every position. We should be winning back to back CLs and league with 120 points every year whille dominating teams with 96 percent possession and 950 sideways passes. But it's that fraud midget who is holding us back. Can't wait til we loan him to China, where he truly belongs.

Or you could sell him to us for 45m + two Brazilian teenagers and Solari. What do you say?

You know what? Scratch that. If I had the keys to the Madrid kingdom, I would seriously and honestly give you the entire (and mighty) Madrid attack except for Vini + 70m for Messi.
So you'd have Benzema, Bale, Asensio, Vasquez plus 70m for that useless midget of yours. What do you say?

Why would you want him though, guy doesn't run, doesn't press and most importantly never defends, you know all the basic stuff a forward needs to do.

I'm afraid you will have to play the long game, @Demon
You have to remember what the upside is:
that we get to witness all the misery and agony Barca and its fans will go through when the Messi era finally, at some point, surely at SOME POINT, finishes. It might take another 2-3 years of free kick goals with 100% certainty, rabbit out of the hat kind of match winning performances, and so on,..... but then we will laugh last, and best

Without Messi we might crash out of group stage in CL or compete Villarreal for CL spot but at least we will play beautiful football so yeah it'll be the Barca fans with last laugh. Believe me.

I'm afraid Messi will continue to play into his forties. The only player who will outlast him in La Liga is Benzema who'll continue to play into his 60s as Madrid's undisputed number nine.
He'll be the first ever player in history to score a goal with his cane, and it'll be through a rebound from Karius' grandson.

Re: La Liga 2018/19 Discussion
I've only ever met one guy who, allegedly, injected himself with human growth hormones, and despite becoming very tall for a Vietnamese person, he spent his 20s going in and out of mental hospitals - presumably, in some part due to the effect of the drugs. He was between 195 and 200cm tall, his older brother was below 170cm

I took your statement at face value, Thimmy and assumed that he injected himself with the hormones without a doctor's help or supervision. Is that what you meant? Because if so, then it's not really a surprise that the whole thing backfired on him.

Believe it or not, Messi is actually in decline imo. still the goat, but his ability to destroy defenders has been reduced.
goat or not, when you reach 35 you are finished. mother nature is cruel.

I never knew him, "Pham" personally. He's probably 5-10 years older than me, and his mere presence scared me shitless when I was a kid. He and his brother appeared out of nowhere when I was with my friends at a basketball camp at the age of 12 or 13. There was a wall with a huge ruler on it to measure peoples' height, and he and his brother seemed to casually appear to inflate their own egos, or something. Pham was a member of a criminal gang, back when they still existed in Norway, or at least when they were still known to the public. As far as I know, they all dissolved or were shut down by the police during the early 2000s.
Pham had apparently been part of a gang since he was just a kid, and I talked to a person a couple of years ago who referred to Pham as perhaps the most powerful person who has lived in the area surrounding the small town where I grew up. He was a physically imposing guy, who apparently did a lot of "dirty work" for his gang, and I've been told that many people who remember him from back then, still fear him today - although I know a guy who works in the mental hospital that he's been in an out of for over a decade now. Apparently, he submits himself to their care willingly.
I can't confirm that he used HGH, but he did use anabolic steroids, and people who knew him claim that HGH was one of the drugs he abused from an early age. Somehow, I doubt he did so under the supervision of a doctor. I certainly imagine he had the funds and contacts to obtain such drugs illegally, but I can't confirm any of it. The height disparity between him and his older brother definitely can't be natural. I was about the same height as his brother when I saw him at the basketball camp. Drugs are bad, man.
