Meanwhile I hear Madrid have reacted well to the Ajax loss and currently being bossed by Valladolid.

We ain't react shit. Valladolid is playing way better and if they just timed their runs better, would have been easily 4-0 up. Well, 4-1. Missed pk, 2 offside goals and playing better.

Meanwhile, Madrid playing exactly like I expect from a Solari led team lol.

Valladollid are running way more than we are, there is the difference. our fitness level in the middle of march, is absolutely disastrous.

in how many games? messi ben yedder griezman and suarez are the players this stat should apply to alongside benzema because they all play in europe. stuani from girona isn't playing europa league nor ucl football, neither is aspas from vigo, or the dude scoring from eibar. and most of those small teams where out early from the spanish cup, so they barely played many games in it

as far as the guys playing european football griezman suarez messi ben yedder; they've all played less games and possibly less minutes than benzema considering he is hardly subbed out. i would like to see the minute ratio or number of games played.

actually i wouldn't like to see it, our season is over, and relying on this group to lead us post cristiano has seen us lose 3 titles in one week

Tbh he should start every game with a yellow by default and get sent off roughly every 2,5 games.

Machín sacked by Sevilla. And Caparrós as usual takes charge. Monchi likely to be sporting director again with Jokin Caparrós becoming the full time coach.

Caparros taking over for the second time to rescue a season, while Machin pays the price for poor squad building, just as Berizzo and Montella did. I didn't rate Machin that highly but Sevilla have been a joke off the pitch.

I mean, imagine hiring a coach who you know will play nothing but three at the back, only to not give him any good defenders to make his backline out of or the wing-backs he wants. Apart from Sergi Gomez (who just got a Spain call up) and Kjaer, who does have outstanding games to balance his shitty ones, every other Sevilla defender has been below standard or injured (in the case of Gnagnon, who has looked extremely promising when he has managed to play). He's had to convert Promes into a left wing-back because he's got the dynamism he wants in a wing-back that neither Escudero or Arana have, but it's not the best way to use his talents.

Monchi coming back is a bonus. Maybe he'll be able to fix some of the glaring squad issues.

Monchi is a master bargain hunter, if he still has his old team and connections with him I can see him give Sevilla a couple of really good players every season. I mean look at this:



You could challenge La Liga with this squad tbh.

tired of seeing them mould players only to sell them to the senior squad , ala barcelona later on. was so happy monchi left, and hope they're development dwindles as well
