I think I’ve explained fairly often why I find Harden boring. I don’t enjoy him. I’ve never said he wasn’t a great player.

A player shooting 23 three pointers in a game that are mostly the same move just isn’t what I enjoy. It’s a personal taste and I don’t see why it’s baffling to you.

The guy has more free throws made than FGM in his career. Not fun to watch for me. I think he could be one of the most fun players if he didn’t go all out on this horrible play style where he’s either trying to draw a foul or shoot a step back 3

Tbf to Harden if he played more like against Golden State he would be criticised a lot less.

In general though the way he hunts free throws is in general bullshit and you don't see a lot of that in those highlights.

Sadly games from Harden like that the one in those highlights are few and far in between from an entertainment purpose.

The last game he posted stuff like that Harden shot 26 FTs. Easy to think Harden cant be boring when only watching highlights of the games.

When you watch in real time it can get impossible to watch.

His last game was better because of limited FTs though. But all those 3s are just not for me.

I can understand hating on him, he‘s really good so he gets fouled a lot and therefore wins a lot of free throws, but I don‘t understand the „boring“ stuff. The man can do everything and does everything every game from dunks to alley oops to playmaking to dribbling and then 3 point shots. There’s nothing he can’t do. That’s really not boring for me but then some people enjoy a specialist— who can do one thing really well —  more for some reason.

Well anyway I’ll stop with the sub posting because for once you acknowledged Harden’s insane run this season, don’t think I can expect any more praise from you.

Boring is a subjective though, i think we can all accept that it's something nobody will agree on that as it's emotional feeling.

My issue with him isn't so much that it's boring more so that i feel like he abuses bad refereeing, people miss the point with his free throws.

My issue isn't the fact he gets them, more that he gets so many which IMO aren't actually just and in the same scenario other players don't get them.

If they were i would more criticise defending for fouling him, but there's so many occasions where defenders are getting called for fouls which aren't actually fouls.

Initially i'd blame the refs and i do partly but it happens so much that it's hard to not criticise Harden for it or get pissed at him for it.

At 17-22 it's not the time to throw the towel, the roster is talented enough. Should be buyers not sellers, trade draft picks vs better subs.

What is the endgame from Pelicans by keeping him until the contract is up? They're never going to win with him, so they might as well kickstart the inevitable rebuild with a huge package of young assets and picks to build for the next decade.

Why should they deal with the Lakers then lol? Also don't lie, he hasn't been open about not staying at all.

If anything it's the opposite, it's just he'll eventually accept like KG in Minnesota that he can't win here.

Of course, but he never stated he wanted out. He wanted to stay given the situation was right.

What Freeza said painted the picture he's said he wanted out which hasn't been the case.

If anything it's been the opposite, pretty much everything coming from Anthony Davis has been stating he's looking for reasons to stay rather than reasons to leave.

But of course the organisation has basically given him zero reasons to, it's basically Garnett all over again he wants to stay but the organisation is forcing him to move because they can't put enough around him.
