Adi "Adolf Hütler" Hütter Appreciation Thread
Imagine going from Eintracht Frankfurt to FC Bayern München, due to the great success you have with such a lower table team, and then the guy who succeeds you has Frankfurt ahead of your Bayern in Bundesliga
Niko Kovac
Adi Hütter
This is guy who broke Basel's iron stranglehold on the Super League, leading the Young Boys to unfamiliar bliss, much like Ernst Röhm orgying with the newest SA recruits.
He also made it through a life as child of parents carrying the last name Hütter and naming their kid Adolf in 1969, with his mind intact Talk about resilience and fighting spirit
After initial struggles, he's now doing a massive job at Frankfurt, not only overcoming the familiar troubles of over-achieving small clubs, after they reached European competition, of struggling badly in the league in face of having to play another competition, he's also in the process of winning a Europa League group of death after smashing both Marseille and Lazio to pieces.
His Frankfurt are, at this moment, scoring for fun.
Quite apparently the guy is an awesome coach, and with a name like that he's surely destined for greater things. Imagine the English press, were he to come to the PL

Great thing about Frankfurt is, they've never had any mentality problems. Only quality problems. You're not going to see them choke like Leverkusenhoffenheimleipzig.

It's so unbelievably depressing that us taking Kovac from Frankfurt ended up with them getting a substantial upgrade

your players are championship quality so a good manager wont do much for your situation at the moment.Hapless_Hans wrote:It's so unbelievably depressing that us taking Kovac from Frankfurt ended up with them getting a substantial upgrade

The parents are clowns for naming their son Adolf, when their last name is already Hütter. You can justify Adolf to some degree, dead uncle or whatever it was, okay, fine, but when you are already a Hütter, you must be braindead to name your son Adolf.

You must be either braindead, or, what is more likely, unrepentant and unapologetic Nazis.

The most apt way I can come up with to describe his Frankfurt's football is:
Daredevil mastery of a high speed pinball machine
