Jesus.
So basically we will not have to play a game vs a top opponent in any competition until February, at the earliest.
We'll probably get embarrassed here nonetheless.
Will you be trying to get tickets for Bayern-Ajax, @zigra?

Yeah for sure. Really lucky actually as I will "miss" (will obviously still watch) most of the games due to being on vacation but I'm at home for this one.

Apparently that was not the final order. Won't be in Germany for that game, what a damn shame.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group E
So the UCL is back and I had to get DAZN here on the Iceberg to watch it, I kinda like that I can choose any game and watch them at any time, the quality was good yesterday, so far so good.
Bit surprised at the odds are so favoured for Bayern, actually for Juve and Man U as well, all of them playing away games, kinda figure one of them could lose?
Kind of hoping the old Bavarian shoe slappers crash and burn this year, but does not seem to be happening...yet. I may have to kind of like Bayern when that Kanadian kid joins.
Really dont know a lot about what Benfica is like nowadays.

Eventually, not playing against top competition for months at time will harm Bayern. And no, Dortmund is not top competition. Look what happened to PSG, they were 2 down before they figured out they had to play football.

Sanches went from flopping at Swansea, incapable of making 3 yard passes to starting in the CL for Bayern???

well, yes.
But..
you have to realize that Rudy and Vidal were sold, Tolisso tore his ACL, Thiago is injured for this game so there's literally no other CM available
I bet if Rafinha wasn't injured too Kimmich would have played CM
I'm afraid I have to concede Sanches is absolutely terrible and looks incapable of learning. Unreliable, often stupid player. Bad movement, wrong positioning, wrong decisions, terrible turnovers
But Kovac is trying to get his confidence up a bit, and last not least Sanches came from Benfica so he's getting a start at his home, guess it's nice.

Gnabry with a goal ruled out for offside.
How would you have felt had that goal stood?

We've been basically begging for a Benfica goal for the last 15 minutes, they didn't manage though

Did he make the game all about himself again? Worst ref in the world IMO by far. Spanish refs are awful as it is, Lahoz is on another level though.
