You really think Ronaldo feels he should prove himself in another country? His ego is unmatched. His confidence is unparalleled. I'm sure in his head he feels he's the best player that ever walked.

I'm sure you agree that after winning 5 CLs,  Ballon d'Ors and 5 League titles among other countless trophies, he doesn't feel he has to prove himself to anyone.

Ronaldo's move was solely money-based. This is not meant to disrespect Juventus, but you would be naive to think otherwise.

let's get back to topic gents. I can see Zidane having the same impact on United as Carlo did on Chelsea few years back, he is an incredible player whisperer after all.

He took as much of a pay cut as Jjuve stand to make an extra 75-100m yearly from the move

There's nothing credible about Zidane to United anyway IMO. I mean, I think if we get rid of Mou (when) he would be on a shortlist we would try for..but eh. It depends when it is, mid-season I could see it being a possibility since nobody else is really available, next summer though? a lot of potential candidates.

He's not an attack-minded coach. His team usually retreats two seconds after drawing first blood.

He also doesn't have a clear, succinct tactical plan (unless you want to count flooding the opposition's box with crosses as one). The squad is obviously underperforming under Mou, but my gawd United squad sucks. Literally there is not a player at United that would start at Chelsea or City.
