- Woodward has refused to back Mourinho with play purchases, even briefing the media on the eve of the first league game about the clubs refusal to spend money on the players demanded by Mourinho

- as a sporting executive, he has proven to be a numpty glory hunter who'll always moronically and mechanically try to go for the galactico approach and the big names, Di Maria, Falcao, Ibrahimovic, Pogba, the failed approaches to Bale, Ramos, Varane, Neymar, Umtiti.

- it was hilarious to see how the club, led by Woodward, entered panic mode when all the rival clubs got the biggest managerial names, Guardiola, Klopp, Conte, and Man United immediately got the remaining biggest name, even though he just had been fired under catastrophic, basically apocalyptic circumstances from Chelsea and though his approach was diametrically opposed to the famous 'groundwork' of then manager van Gaal.

There's no way Woodward will pass up the opportunity to install Zidane

It should be pretty obvious at this point. Woodward looks to have slowly inclined towards Pogba than Mourinho and Zidane appointment would be an indication towards that. Pogba has gone on record saying it would be a 'dream' for him to play under his idol Zidane. Man U want him to be the face of the club so they'd rather protect their investment on their poster boy and World Cup winner over a has been coach whose days at the top are practically numbered.

Zidane would be a big personality to take over Man U, obviously after the treble CLs and whats hes done at Real. Just look at Real before and well so far after him. Tbh, as much as I dislike Man U, wouldnt mind see Zidane go there, just seems fitting to have a big name for a big club like Man U, to rival Peps Man C. Otherwise the gap would continue to widen between the two clubs

Mourinho is finished. Don't think he will get a gig anywhere else unless it's in Portugal. Zidane will be a massive upgrade at this point. And like Ronaldo Zidane will want to prove he can win outside of Real Madrid. I'll give it another 2 weeks max.

CR7 was already one of the best players in the world who had won everything in England and the CL before he joined Madrid. Juve fans already rewriting history and thinking CR7 joined them for prestige and legacy at 33.

Look at Jjuve fans parading around with swagger since the Ronaldo transfer, as if they'd actually bought the CL trophies Real won with him, and not the aging expensive diva Real got rid of after winning those trophies
