You can make as many transfers as you want. But only one is free every week, after every free transfer you get -4 points deducted, 3 transfers get you -8 points and so on.

Unless you don't use your free transfer that week, then you have 2 free transfer weeks in the next one and so on.

And yes, prices change for better or for worse, that's why having a good team in the 1st week is important, you'll have an easier job to maneuver with a 105m squad rather than 98m.

Juve has 6 forwards and should rotate accordingly. If last season was any indication then no one is safe except for obviously Ronaldo. Allegri benched a fit Higuain and a fit Dybala on separate times. I just think you could find better value and Douglas, himself has never filled the stat sheet

Yeah but which Juve defenders are sure to start? Getting rid of Costa doesn't mean I can afford Chiellini, and I'm not sure whether Benatia, Rugani, De Sciglio, Sandro, Cancelo will start either?

Sandro-Chiellini-Bonucci-X is the starting lineup.

Yeah but that's what I mean. I got Bonnucci already, Chiellini I won't be able to afford that easily probably, x is who?, and Sandro is probably the least certain to start from the three, no?

Our other LB (Spinazzolla) is out for months so Sandro will be starting for sure. De Sciglio will give some rest here and there but it should be Sandro starting always when fit.

Bonucci and Chiellini will probably see more rotation than him since Rugani and Benatia both need playing time.

X is De Sciglio, Cancelo and even Cuadrado. De Sciglio should play more for now.

when do the prices change though? My squad value is still exactly 100m. But it looks like I could do transfers nonetheless? Shouldn't the transfers be stopped until player values are updated?

Generally speaking, it's a bit annoying about the site that it keeps displaying stuff that is not, or just half-way, updated and you don't know what's what.

I think prices change at midnight uk time, but I might be wrong. There are a few tools ( http://www.fplstatistics.co.uk/ ) available online to see what the price change will be and help you make decisions on to whether take a hit for a transfer or wait another week.

Just realized that my head 2 head team didn't even have the 3-5-2 formation I chose but some other default 4-4-2 formation with Huddersfield's Schindler in it, and I didn't notice, and I still crushed RG

completely is, and lazy me is never bothered to cash in on that.

have to wonder though, why did my h2h team even have a different formation and first 11 than the one I selected, then? I don't see different 'team' managing options for different leagues?

One of your starters must not have played. Your 1st sub came in, which must have changed the formation you played.

Relegation battle starts for me

Hating this Aguero-Jesus rotation policy.

I know last season that Aguero started all home matches, and Jesus most of the away matches especially against the big teams when both were fit. However, I have Aguero on my team and I could see Jesus getting his first start to get the season going.

I think I'm going to drop him and just sub in Lukaku or something.

I have Aguero too and I will drop him immediately after this game day whether he starts or not. Just not worth the stress or price.
