We haven't scored since his injury. And Benzema hasn't shot on target.

Also too many Spanish scrubs in the team, from carvajal all the way to isco, all of them do the same thing dwell on the ball to much, over dribble and take a ton of shit shots, jlo is showing too much Spanish bias and it's gonna cost him his job, a lot of these games are winnable but the players like modric, bale, Kroos and casemiro are also guilty of not creating enough and shooting too many unnecessary shots, what happened to playing through benzema? Like at the start of the season? everything went to crap when the players went into glory hunting mode and lost the plot, jlo doesn't have enough balls to reel the players in it seems.

when we win at the beginning of the season, its because they're going through benzema, then when we don't its cos they're not? they take unnecessary shots because they've been passing the ball for minutes on end with no results and realize the opposition isn't stupid enough to give them space, then they start shooting wild shots

and how can you go through someone if they aren't in a good position to score? did u see the atleti game? how many times was he in the midfield area? or even the last game against cska , dude was damn near doing defensive duties. and if you watch our games and benzema specifically, when you pass him the ball, he passes back. he does a one touch pass when he gets the ball. what he did against atleti 2 years ago is not a constant move of his

its funny cos you were saying jlo should stay here for 3 years just a few weeks ago. there are many problems, but quit acting like benzema is michael jordan who you just give the ball to and everyone gets out of the way whilst he gets us buckets. watch all our games, his go to move when he gets the ball is to pass it to someone else. yes there are many scrubs on the team (not the ones you mentioned), but the castilla dudes on the bench. but once again, i recall you praising the policy of having them, since it would mean nobody competes with michael jordan in the nos 9 jersey

Madrid and Barca struggling has made this a tight start. Horrible start by both teams. Atleti isn't exactly shining either.

Typical post WC year. A lot of the players in the WC don't get themselves together until January.

Not sure what Benz and Bale's excuse is though lol.

Its only been 8 games though, hopefully the competitiveness remains

We know why Madrid are struggling, ie end of cycle, etc..., why are barca just 1 point above us?

Maybe it’s just 8 games, but there is no denying that teams like Sevilla, Betis, Celta, Alaves, Espanyol are playing good futbol. Also I don’t think Valencia and Villareal remain in bottom half. We can expect Barca and both Madrid teams (and yes BC, i made a typo!) to improve, but as I said I don’t ever, and I go back a lot longer than all of you, remember la liga this tight!
