They were never in any danger. Yes Ronaldo scores the goals but they incredibly well organised and only really missing the likes of Moutinho and Silva picking up their game to be a complete side.

There isn't a weakness in that team, i'm getting annoyed with people downplaying their team to hype up Ronaldo. Ronaldo is doing good enough on his own without the need for that bullshit.

But i don't really have the energy to go any further than that.

But as a Messi fan I gotta say todays game and this WC was very bad for Messi, the way he seem like not even trying and stand around not doing anything. I think it shows he has some real limitations, that he cant lead and play well with the NT to gel with other players or motivate them enough... maybe thats not fair but he is supposed to be the best and we demand a lot from him, but the difference has been too much, hes really failed to show anything like what we want.

Hes probably go down as the best player in this era but unable to win the WC which would have otherwise clearly marked him a level above.

Spain had an easier time creating chances against Portugal than they did against Iran, hell their only goal against the latter was purely accidental.  
Morocco dominated Portugal and created tons of chances ( Benatia missed 3 close-range shots ), they created almost zero against Iran.
You can easily argue that Portugal isn't even the most well-drilled team in their group.

I don't doubt that they can get their shit together and get back to their Euro 16 form, but I just didn't  see this well-organized unit you're talking about in these 2 matches.

It should be noted that while Messi might play in a bad team managed by a fraud it's ALL his fault.
Argentina have a great generation and could appoint great coaches but it's MESSI who doesn't allow it. HE installs the trashy managers. HE blocks the great players. It's not about what's best for Argentina, it's not even about what's best for him. It's just about who he likes. Cronyism.

He's his teams best player but he destroys them.
Kick him out after the WC. Bring in a top coach who doesn't have to bow to Messi. That generation should compete for titles, not go out in the group stage.
