Won’t be long before Hakimi/Guerreiro estabilish themselves over veterans Piszczek/Schmelzer. Max Philipp and Sancho to provide depth in attack, Götze/Kagawa/Weigl in midfield, Toprak/Zagadou for CB and Hitz to challenge Bürki. Only weak point in the starting XI is Bürki imo.

That was before signing Paco though, Favre was still experimenting with Philipp as a false striker which obviously resulted in some crappy attacking games.

Since then Favre is starting to know his team more and the thus the results have improved.

They look defensively secure and the goals are coming now that Paco is starting games. The likes of Pulisic, Guerrero, Weigl can barely play due to competition. They are much much better this season already imo.
