Naby Keita will cost Liverpool £52.75m after RB Leipzig finished sixth in the Bundesliga.

Liverpool agreed a deal to bring Keita to Anfield at the end of this season during the 2017 summer transfer window, but his price was dependent on Leipzig's final league position.

If the German club had secured Champions League football for a second successive season the price for Keita would have been £59m.

its crazy how some of these deals work.

Arsenal bosses have held talks with the representatives of Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri as they consider a formal move this summer, Sky Sports News understands.

London rivals Chelsea are also interested in the midfielder, who is rated at around £40million and nearly signed for Barcelona last summer, and are monitoring developments.

Arsenal's director of football, Raul Sanllehi, who spent 14 years at the Catalan club and current La Liga champions, has re-opened dialogue with agents who work on behalf of the player.

He just turned 29 and pace isn't his game, he has years left. At 40m it's an unreal steal. You just paid 80m for a guy who is about to turn 27 and is 1/5th the CB ffs

i half agree. i would be happy for liverpool to pay 50mil for him if it means the end of lovren. but 40mil for a sick note is a bit much tbh.

Tottenham are set to move for highly rated Ajax teenager Matthijs de Ligt, according to the Evening Standard.

The 18-year-old is valued at around £50 million ($68m), and is also a target for Barcelona this summer.

But Mauricio Pochettino wants to use the money raised by the expected sale of Toby Alderweireld to bring in a younger replacement.

Mourinho is terrible with young players. He's getting as many oldies as he can so he can win a PL , get sacked the following season, leaving the Man United squad in a terrible state setting them back to another 2-3 years. Very likely scenario IMO
