To think, 2 guys who are the most criticised (for rightful reasons too) were the ones that really gave us the win. Talking about Benzema and Navas, really came through for us today. Ramos and Varane were immense while Asensio and Kroos thought this was a La Liga match.

As for Ronaldo, wasteful in his finishing but his goals are what brought us here so no one would be overly critical (or even critical for that matter). Modric, sigh, we'll definitely miss him whenever he leaves this club, one of the finest midfielders to play for this club.

Bayern, well, they can find solace in the fact that they would, once again, have no idea how they didn't win. Also, Mueller and Lewa had stinkers of a match.

We really were there for the taking. I'm sure we will have all the negative posts aimed at us as we usually do but Bayern can only blame themselves.

If it wasn't for their horrible finishing (literally some of the worst I have seen in a CL semifinal), they would have crushed us both legs.

Don't be fooled. James is actually good enough to play for Madrid. Has had some good numbers for us when he was playing with us. Just his lazy defending that was frustrating but he showed none of that now (and I think for Bayern has been defending well in general)
