should Barca change manager?
Never thought one game can have such a drastic change on things, all in all Valverde has done a pretty good job this season all things consider, but that approach for this loss was just too much, it was failure in one game but EPIC proportions. With all due respect, it was 3 goals lead vs Roma, I was almost difficult to lose the tie from that position surely. I dont know if its coincidence only, but taking off Iniesta and then conceding that third goal was so I dont know the word to describe LOL, just so bad, just unacceptable. Not knee jerking, but seriously he has a lot to answer for. I hate it to be decided on one result, but this was just so so so so so bad a game and result for us.
This season I mainly thought the 4-4-2 has made us more solid which is what we needed, and he has done fairly well with the mix and match considering the new players and we lost Neymar. Performance wise the team has been not bad but definitely not as good as they could be, and many times we have been outplayed and a bit lucky results wise. Im not sure how much he can build and improve the team if he continues into next season.
So considering everything, do u think he should still be kept as Barca manager for next season? If not, who should be?

They are currently walking the league, strolling in fact.
So no, one loss in the CL shouldn't dictate a coach's tenure.

Nah, Barca is undefeated and refs just eliminated them, again. Just get rid of the saboteur, grandpa and drunkard for the next season.

Obviously I meant in the summer after the season. I really hope this is just a transitional season and he has better plans for next season for our team building, otherwise he needs to go as clearly if its more of the same its not good enough, we are unbeaten in the league but we have been lucky and many times we get outplayed by oppositions.

Re: should Barca change manager?
I think so. He got eliminated by Roma. We just needed 1 (one) away goal.
Watch Sevilla batter us in the CdR final. We'll walk away with the leauge because RM's been shit.... Valverde deserves praise for that but leauge is not enough, especially since the quality of football is horrendous.
I'd understand if we went out against Bayern/Madrid after a fair fight but we basically bent over before R-o-m-a. With all due respect because they've put on a hell of a performance.
So, yes, he'll walk the leauge but his quality of football is absolute crap and CL verified that. We had no arguments yesterday and couldn't even respond.
I think the right question to ask is whether he's capable of change or not? IMO absolutely not. If he remains coach for next season, nothing will change. Just look at him. Reminds me of Wenger, old and flaccid -- and the players are a reflection of him on the pitch.

I am no EV fan , but do you really think that with the starting midfield of Rakitik , old Iniestra , Busquet , Roberto is good enough for CL ?
Does not matter when Barcelona is out and by which team. The lack of quality would have been exposed in any stage eventually. Its just that Messi did not perform and for that matter the rest of the team.
Only because EV is out and yelling those words , does not mean he was solely responsible for it.

Re: should Barca change manager?
Is Rakitic, OLD Iniesta and Busquets the worst midfield in the world? That's not a worse midfield than Nainggolan, Strootman and OLD De Rossi yet we got absolutely outplayed and the players seemed like they didn't know what they went out to play for.
I know it's hard to motivate guys like Busquets and Iniesta who have won everything, but Valverde is not helping. There didn't seem to be a general cohesive game plan either. It appeared to me that Valverde just told them to sit back and await events. He didn't expect Roma to score 3.
BTW have you seen Iniesta play for Spain? He's a completely different man there. Like he's 25 again. It's for Barca that he looks and plays like a 40 year old. I wonder why?

MOTM vs Germany and a great game against Argentina.
Barca does suck the life out of players, isn't that right?
