God I love Embiid and Simmons. So great to watch.
Embiid was absolutely incredible on defense. Was the most important player during their stretch because he basically elimated any attempt they had at scoring inside.
The mask is clearly bothering him on offense though.

Yeah Jrue was amazing, didn't think outside of Jrue and AD ( combined for 88! ) we played that well today.
Some moments of sloppy offence and way too many turnovers, but it's to be expected 3-0 up very rarely does the team going for the sweep play at the level they can.
Also can i just say after Game 1 i was wrong, i expected Lillard to eventually break the shackles and not CJ but CJ was the one who actually performed at the level he was capable of today and Lillard was an absolute ghost.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
That's pretty shocking. I mean some things were unexpected like Holiday being this good and Mirotic as well. Nor did I expect CJ and Dame to play as bad as they did (moreso Dame).
But anyone could see it was going to be a competitive series at the very least. Nobody expected the Pels to sweep, but a competitive series where Pels could take it? Yeah. You've got one of the best players in the league with AD with playoff Rondo ffs, and the West was pretty cluttered together anyway, what was the difference in games between Pels and Blazers?
Pretty shocking.

TWolves just dicked Houston
They made 15 threes, they averaged 8 in the regular season.
They looked great. Even saw KAT get involved down low in the post a couple times. Jimmy Butler shoved Harden out of bounds, and CP3 fouled out. Good game.

Cool, they should have won game 1 really.
Quite happy about how most of these series are going, our and Golden State series aside no sweeps

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Heard the Wolves fans chant "Wolves in six"
On one hand I think it's pretty funny that other fanbases are enjoying it enough to use it. On the other, seems kinda weird and tacky without the history that the Bucks have as far as Brandon Jennings saying it back in the day, getting *bleep* by LeBron's heat and then embracing the awfulness that we are.
Bucks in six is supposed to be the self-deprecating, humor infused cry of a Midwest small-market franchise, not a rallying cry (even if that rallying cry is just embracing the meme).
Since it's the TWolves and they are our neighbor, I'm alright with it. They share enough heartbreak (Minnesota sports are even more heartbreaking than Wisconsin's arguably) and the midwest small media market vibe, as well as a long NBA playoff drought. If it spreads anywhere else, it will be really tacky though.
I might as well edit this for other bucks related ideas: I really enjoyed last night but I think Stevens will probably adjust and we'll be in for a much tougher game tomorrow.

Hopefully this is a wake up call, this team hasn’t played well since securing the no 1 seed despite winning.
The good thing is that Road Ryno is back, he was incredible for the few minutes he played.

Rubio always puts up his numbers, but anyone notice he is playing more freely and efficiently since the emergence of Spida?
A proper series this one is. How do you guys think Utah matches up against Houston?

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
I think they would match up worse than OKC. I'm legit scared that OKC can take on Houston to game 7 even in full form, Utah are good but ultimately Houston would beat them.
That is if Houston can get to pre-March form, otherwise both knock them out tbh

Yea I also think Utah would be easily beaten by Houston. Like in 5 perhaps. OKC might offer a stiffer challenge

Last game was even better
The team made the adjustments that they needed to make, and we're playing so well overall.
Who would have thought that Jabari openly criticizing the coach, Bledsoe talking shit after getting his ass handed to him, and an injury to Henson to bring in PLAYOFF THON would turn this team around. Being at home helps a lot though, obviously
