Fellaini leans towards Roma

Marouane Fellaini is heading towards Roma as a free agent when his Manchester United contract expires, it’s reported.

The midfielder will be out of contract at Old Trafford in June and has no shortage of offers on the table.

Most of them are from Turkey, where Galatasaray and Besiktas are duelling over his signature.

However, according to the Corriere dello Sport and Sun Sport, Fellaini has chosen a future in Serie A next term with Roma.

The 30-year-old Belgium international would be reunited with fellow countryman Radja Nainggolan.

It’s believed Giallorossi director of sport Monchi is a long-time admirer of rugged Fellaini and believes he can bring a different skill-set to Roma.

I've personally never rated him, but somehow don't find this the least bit bad of a deal. I wonder about his wages though.

Mou desperately wants to keep him, so I'm pleased he's found somewhere he wants to play It's not a bad deal for Roma at all tbh. He's far superior to Can who seems Juve bound.

Think it depends on who leaves in the summer. A move like this pushes out maybe Gerson or Strootman. I honestly don't want to lose either if it means bringing him in.

Wages have to be high for a bosman. Always leave me wary of free transfers. Perhaps the only I'd want at Milan is Max Meyer.

Yeah for us, that just means someone high on wages (relatively) will need to go. That's probably Strootman. I can't see us selling Nainggolan for this guy. Hell, even selling Strootman for him would be a mistake.

Liverpool have approached Jorginho and his representatives ahead of a summer transfer. Jorginho will make his decision at the end of the season. (UOL Esporte)

Jorginho... One player Milan missed out on. Rather a big miss by Galliani. Unforgivable.

And don't sell Strootman or Nainggolan for someone like Felliani. He is 30 and has no upside and even though Nainggolan is nearly the same age, Nainggolan is a hundred times better.

There is a higher chance Rincon becomes an Inter fan but I really wouldn't mind seeing Madrid put in a bid for Jorginho.

We're still in for Dzeko. While older, he could be the key striker we are currently lacking up front (as much as I like Cutrone and Silva... we need something more).

Would have liked him before Roma, but one more of Galliani's missed opportunities.

We need to cut our losses on Kalinic. That was a player Montella suggested. We should sell him at a loss to Sevilla.
