Re: Alexis Sanchez - Man United Watch
According to the Daily Mail, Sanchez has failed to adapt to life at United and does not fit in with any social group at the club.
He is often spotted eating alone in the canteen and moping around their training complex at Carrington.
Some say he comes across as a player who is having second thoughts over his decision to join United.

He was the same at Arsenal, does not seem to be a likeable personality. Don't think it's a big deal, he just likes to stay alone it seems.

having seen the social circles at United and Arsenal I don't blame him
seen those pics of half the Arsenal team on some chavvy teenage night out at a fair ffs
this is good though, hope his ostracism and loneliness will help us move him on to Serie A with a huge wage cut

Still believe he will come good next season.
But yea he was never one of those players to get all close with the rest of the team etc. I mean even his gf left him because of his personality.

Moping around lmao
Oh no the horror.
Doubt it's that hard to not be an outsider in a modern football club where people move every 2 years. Sounds like a dick, and the way he played for Arsenal after buying into his own hype backs that up.

Worst signing of the modern era IMO. Makes Morata's signing look like great business. Mou sees him as undroppable too.

He is finished isnt he?
he pulled out a wonderful con job. He did enough with Arsenal to earn the biggest contract ever in EPL at United, and now he just relaxes at home with his dogs, shows up for games, jogs, and then goes home.

yeah..like I said before, Mourinho seems forced to justify the signing, so plays him every game.
We basically play with 10 men from the start of every game. Sanchez offers absolutely NOTHING. He makes a decent lobbed/chipped pass every other game, other than that just jogs around the pitch.
Club needs to just be resigned that they *bleep* up and bench him asap, won't happen though until Mou is gone

5 years later and I still can't get over that Pedro-Sanchez-Messi forward line we once had *shudder*. Dark times.

I remember his goal against Madrid though.
Think that was one of the few memorable things he did.

Re: Alexis Sanchez - Man United Watch
Pep probably would have had Alexis just stick near the box and score tap-ins tbh. Sanchez tries too hard to be a protagonist and he was never really that talented to be one. It's no surprise that the moment he started to decline a bit physically that he's become incredibly frustrating.
Honestly, aside from money that very well could have been a reason he joined United. Even though he sees less of the ball at United, at City his creative and positional freedom would have been very restricted.
The move seems to have fired back so far though. TBH I didn't really understand why you'd want a ball hogging LW when you already have a ball hogging LCM, they'll just get in each other's way. Mourinho really needs to start coaching detailed attacking dynamics or hire an assistant coach who can.

Re: Alexis Sanchez - Man United Watch
Let's remember that Man United are paying Alexis Sanchez something like 25m-30m € per year in wages.
He scored 4 goals IN ALL COMPETITIONS since joining last January.
He's now been injured in training and his year might be done.
Arguably the biggest flop in the history of football.

Re: Alexis Sanchez - Man United Watch
Gotta be one of them. In hindsight, I acted like a complete numpty when we gazumped City to his signing, if I could do it all over again, I absolutely would. Fun couple of days.
Incredibly happy he's injured and out though as it means he won't be stinking up the pitch.

Re: Alexis Sanchez - Man United Watch
Easily one of the most overrated talents of this generation.
Carried by Di Natale in Udinese and made to look better.
Terrible for Barcelona.
Shone only when the rest of the team bombed in Arsenal and briefly.
Nothing player for United.
Only notable for Chile versus South American scrubs.
Very limited player.

Disagree. He's always been a fraud. Doesn't give a shit about his team too. Awful player to have in your squad.
Probably the worst 'top' player in the world.

Re: Alexis Sanchez - Man United Watch
Sanchez has to be in for a shout of worst signing of the PL era, up there with Torres, Morata and Carroll, granted we swapped him fro Mkhi, his wages are insane and he's well beyond the point of being finished. Doubt he could even perform in Serie A.
