Reigns would kick out at 1 from that imo.

Some back story.
Finn Balor was supposed to face Lesnar at the Rumble.
Vince decided he was gonna job Balor to Kane two weeks in a row ( which included a Tombstone on the ramp) to build Kane up for Strowman ( because reasons) he then apparently complained that Balor wasn't over enough to face Lesnar after jobbing him out to Kane in 2017.
So they decided to change the title match to Lesnar vs Strowman vs Kane presumably so Strowman doesn't get pinned again.
It's every bit as awful as it sounds.

Has Balor turned heel ?
Seems Balor club is back. I have not been following recently.

Not yet, but considering he's with Gallows and Anderson i wouldn't be surprised if he eventually does.
Yeah they put them back together last week out of nowhere, this would have actually meant something if for the aforementioned burying of Balor and they have really never pushed Gallows and Anderson.

God that Rumble was so unbelievably terrible.
I'll be genuinely impressed if this year's is even worse, would take a special kind of incompetence.

Actually makes sense for Reigns to win the rumble this year and go on to face Lesnar, based on recent booking. It's also in Philly this year, imagine the reaction.

I was thinking about this.
The only reason I'm skeptical is because the Elimination Chamber is a Raw PPV and they have to use the Chamber for something.
That's where Reigns will become no 1 contender imo, I feel like the Rumble winner will come from Smackdown or a RAW guy choosing to go after the WWE champion ala Benoit.
It's blatant as hell they are going with Reigns vs Lesnar for the main event but how they get there is a little less predictable.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Would love to see Woken Matt win the rumble, Bray wins the chamber and they go onto headline mania. Clash of 2 Worlds, huge takeover storyline, resulting in a final deletion esque ending. Wishful thinking though imo.
Will probably just be a generic 'I'm better than you' feud between Reigns/Lesnar.

Honestly I'd just be happy if they moved Bray and Woken Matt on from laughing contests tbh
It's getting boring now tbh, I need further enhancement in the storyline.

Reigns rumble history;
2014: runner up
2015: winner
2016: last 3
2017: runner up
No way should he win again this year.

Cena/Taker happening this year along with Reigns/Lesnar, according to Meltzer.
Hope it's an 'I quit' match between Cena/Taker.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Which led to the best match in history of WWE tbh.
I'd put that Stone Cold vs Bret Hart match up against anything.
Both arguably did the best character work of their careers during the feud, I know he got massively over as a babyface but Heel Austin in 96/97 was best Austin imo.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 34
Oh and btw for some reason I decided to watch 2005 RAW recently, don't really know why and will continue to go through the years unless it gets absolutely terrible.
It's a real mixed bag tbh, the year starts really strong with the Batista and HHH feud which is legitimately great.
The Gold Rush tournament (really great concept btw) was genuinely interesting and unpredictable which led to the great Kane and Edge storyline about Lita.
But after the draft it goes to absolute shite, Cena and Jericho feud is the absolute drizzling shits and loads of really boring filler around it.
Having said that the Matt Hardy and Edge feud just started so hopefully that it helps it pick up again.

The Ronda Rousey deal is done. No news on who’s she’s facing at Mania; the 4-on-4 horse women match is still a possibility. Don’t expect to see her in the Rumble, though - unless WWE are craving major main stream attention. #RoyalRumble

Hearing reports that Paige is being withdrawn from Women's Royal Rumble and will retire due to a neck injury from a match with Sasha Banks at a house event. Sad, if true.
