Reigns vs Cena would have been an option if they wanted, like with most things they wasted it on irrelevant PPV in September.

Well that and Reigns never got over anyway.

Matches against Cena are not as high profile anymore. He has gone into the Y2J territory of putting others over and then going away for a while.

The biggest regret there is that he wasn't let to face the Undertaker. They'll probably give him someone like Balor to put over at WM

Cena should never lose from now on unless he's feuding against the next great superstar imo. Nobody on the current roster has shown that potential yet.

His films are all flopping. Should just come back full time and go on a supercena run again IMO

Doubt that tbh, Balor has been jobbing to Kane lmao. Don't really see big time match in his future.

In terms of Raw it's Strowman, Reigns, Joe and *bleep* all else most likely.

Those are the guys who have been pushed this year, the rest have basically been ignored.

Also disagree with this tbh, only PPV matches Cena has had this year have been pretty big.

Styles at the Rumble and the culmination of a 6 month long feud where Cena won his 16th.

Reigns vs Cena which was pretty huge tbh, everyone was talking about Cena burying him lol.

He's nowhere close to Jericho vs Fandango levels of meh. Only people he's lost to is Styles and Reigns.

Reigns is their guy and the Styles feud established him as a main event guy who people want to watch as seen by the reactions to his matches with Lesnar and Balor.

Just saw Edge on Vikings. The look suits him, but sure about the accent.

Need one of our resident Scandinavians to rate it. hmm

I know i say it every week now, but this Bryan/Shane/Owens/Zayn storyline is really good.

Just a shame that the rest of the product is completely devoid of any coherent storytelling to give any sort of interest in it.

I have no doubt they'll *bleep* it up when it comes time to give the pay off like they always do but it's been consistently interesting and entertaining since Zayn turned.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0j5gwkKNgI

There are surely not turning Bryan though, seems dumb AF. Having said that the shit eating grin on Bryan's face when he announced the match for the Rumble is *bleep* hilarious.

He's taking great pride in shitting on AJ there.

Anyone watched WK12?

Only watched Jericho-Omega and Naito-Okada.

Jericho-Omega was pretty good imo, would recommend y'all give it a watch.

Yeah Jericho/Omega was really good. The bumps Jericho took for his age were insane, mad props to him.

Really disappointed Naito lost. It was his time.

Yeah I did.

I can see why Naito is so popular, a real showman.

The Okada push is hilarious, WWE wish they could get away with this with Reigns.

I mean he deserves it but it's still funny.

Although the show that just finished explains why Naito lost, Jericho attacked him the next night so it seemed he's staying in NJPW for a while.

The storytelling on Naito's loss was top notch though. He had the match won but kept going for the Stardust Press to exorcise the demons of his failed first push.

This video explains his story. Best character in wrestling today, hands down.

I don't have an issue with it, I just find it funny tbh. Because his lengthy push would probably revolted against in WWE tbh.

As I said he deserves every bit of it, but I do find the differences in culture.

I said this last year btw but I will never enjoy Okada as much as most because of his finish.

I've been keeping my eyes on NJPW since WK9 and Naito is easily the most over guy I've seen over there. He should've won as that was the logical conclusion to the story, but I had a feeling that Okada was always going to win.

They want to solidify Okada as the FOTC. He got the torch 2 years ago, but the best way to maintain that image is to have him win the biggest matches. Considering that more eyes are on their product in decades, it makes sense why they have to make Okada seem like such a big deal. He has to be recognized as the top guy by the new viewers.

Again, I don't agree with it, and now was the best time Okada should have dropped the title, but I can see why they made that decision.

Ehh his hair didn't look all that long, like in his prime days. Was at his shoulders, IIRC.

I didn't watch back then but a lot of people are saying same thing happened in WK9 when Tanahashi beat Okada and everyone was pissed saying it was Okada's time. Okada eventually did beat Tanahashi a year later on WK 10. This could be different though, considering Okada is 5 years younger than Naito so there is no torch to pass.

To me it does.

I have watched his matches with Tanahashi, Omega, Styles, Nakamura etc etc and I have never liked it.

He's an all time great performer tbh but I don't like his finish at all.

I mean Omega and Styles attempt to sell it like death in those gifs and it still looks weak AF.

I loved Bret, there's a lot of problems with today's product and quite frankly there's been a lot of problems with the product going on 15 years.

But one of the things that frustrate me more than most is how some of them don't treat it like a fight, not all of them do but some.

Takes interest away, if you can't get interest in the fight everything else is pointless.

Reading twitter, seems like they have finally put Balor with Gallows and Anderson.

Shame they have done everything they can to bury all 3 of them so none of it matters and they are facing Reings/Jordan/Rollins tonight.

Gonna be funny when the Big Dog makes them irrelevant in one night tbh.
