A remarkable 10 minutes of TV from 3 of England’s ‘Golden Generation’ and the issues they faced in their time as Lions...fascinating TV... pic.twitter.com/ZYy6VB66A2

Fascinating watch. Pretty much admitting that it has always been club before country.

Hm, fascinating indeed.
Love how they're not afraid to roast Capello or Sven.

Great discussion, thanks for sharing
I was definitely surprised at that clique thing going on in the England camp, didn't expect it, especially when i compare it to Italy where everyone mingles with everyone else.
The only other case like that is probably Spain but thats because purely because Barca/Real, though many of the players have come out and said that when they play for Spain, they're united and put the club stuff behind them.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 4
All this seems like a nice way to excuse them of their failings with the national team.
You can work with people you dislike, we do it everyday but we are still expected to perform. Even in football you have cases like Sheringham and Andy Cole, who have never spoken to each and still played brilliantly.

One observation and one question:
- Burnley fans do seem to have some of the most moronic chanting around
- why does Wenger leave out Arsenal's best player in such an important match against a direct rival?

Yep.
Not afraid to blame Sven and Capello = Let's save our own asses.
Have no interest in the excuses of perennial failing primadonnas.

These guys (well 2/3) won everything there is to win at club level, maybe its not them, maybe its something to do with the institution?

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion Part 4
Probably due to the players they played with, like i said i'm not interested in excuses.
Especially when they are blaming everyone else but themselves.

If you've watched the video, they did, they said they take personal responsibility for England's failings

Would be great if some mideastern investor-owner would make it his quest to assemble a cinephile XI, featuring Tarkowski, Bertolacci, Allen
