A Chelsea player next season. Disappointed. At least didnt go to Liverpool. So, there's that.

Very classy behavior, the way he left. Barca and Meltbele could learn a lot.

The only thing we can trust is that you know absolutely nothing about him.

The only consolation is that I actually never had the feeling he would make the switch from Dortmund to Bayern.
Will be a greater player than Hazard eventually.

Just another example of a dirty foreigner who can't compete with some solid English competition tbh.

He technically hasn't reached England as yet but yes, agreed.

Was referring to Sancho running him out of town to play with Pedro and Willian tbh.

Big money move to Chelsea, struggles for 2-3 seasons due to "unique" reasons. Gets sold back to a German club not named Bayern. Impresses yet again because he's a talented lil shit. City buys him and he is another De Bruyne.

Re: Christian Pulisic
Resounding move of intent from Chelsea and the first one I can remember in a long time.
Christian is a very talented player and quite frankly the only one of any worthy not from the USMNT who just are utterly scarce of talent.
Sarri knows what he's getting here given he used similar players in the form of Mertens, Insigne and Callejon in similar fashion.
Pulisic lacks the passing talents of Insigne for example but for the minutes he has played in Dortmund he has done very well and the successful recency of Sancho should not hide from it.
Will be a success in EPL no doubt.
Though odd to move from a Dortmund on a huge high with a superb manager to Chelsea whos atmosphere, stadium and future seems nowhere near as exciting or anything in the club comparatively to Dortmund.

Re: Christian Pulisic
64m for a bench warmer. Amazing business by Dortmund. The American hype machine hurts their players so much, no way he can not be overrated after that price tag.

Re: Christian Pulisic
yeah this season, main man Jadon Sancho has benched him. i forgot the name of the other poverty winger that plays on the other side.
I used to think he would take over after Dembele left but did not happen (can't remember if he had a long term injury last season).
I dont have a problem with the price though, i think he is a highly intelligent youngster, still at 20, a bit of a gamble but he has chances to succeed.

Re: Christian Pulisic
Not really. Hasn't been a starter for a couple of months but did start beginning of the season.
It's all moot anyway. Pulisic had a somewhat difficult and weaker last 12-18 months. Which is your typical thing to happen to a player that becomes a starter vey young. Three managerial changes etc.
He's the real deal, great attacking player with maturity and end product.

That actually sounds very much like someone who's just an early developer instead of a super talent.

He is. Has barely played lol (5 starts, 6 games as a sub... 1 goal and 2 assists in Bundi as a AM). This is more about marketing $$$$ than his football on the pitch. Chelsea will be a very watched team in the US suddenly.
Has talent. But I'm not convinced of his durability (his really slight), mentality and adaptability. He really reminds of Asensio.

Re: Christian Pulisic
Good business from Dortmund. Arguably not even bad business from Chelsea given the kind of publicity and support this will net them in the states.
I'm upset. Would rather not have the great American hope at Chelsea. I hate Chelsea and it's also one of the worst places to go as a young player.

Nothing from Sarri's tenure says this is the case though, this take is something which applied under Conte or Mourinho and is thus very outdated.

Sarri doesn't rotate. He sticks with the starting 11 much more than Mou or Conte. It was his biggest failure at Napoli.

What's that got to do with young players? Last time i checked Barkley plays a bunch of games. Something i doubt Mourinho and Conte is doing.
He plays young players if they're good enough, as such it's an outdated take.

Re: Christian Pulisic
He plays the players that work on his 11 and that's it. Everyone else outside of 2 or max 3 get ostracized. If the young players are not ready to perform 100% like he wants then they get little time.
If Pullisic is already good enough to be a protagonist for Sarri then he will play a bunch, if he isn't, then he won't develop at all. He never cared about developing players outside of his immediate plans.
