Are we going to witness the GREATEST Premier league season of all time?
PL clubs buying superstars left right centre
New managers settling in
Old managers reviving
Feuds intensifying between factions from all over the football world.
Mourinho looking to mount a title charge spearheaded by the nation of dabnation in Lukaku, Pogba and Lingard
Klopp sharpening his counter attacking game with more speed in Salah
Wenger buying main event superstars in Lacazette, Mbappe, Lemar and Hulk
Koeman buying legends in Rooney and Sandro Ramirez
Conte buying NXT superstars in Rudiger and potentially Morata
Guardiola buying more Lucha underground stars in Bernardo Silva
Is this season going to provide us with unprecedented level of banter?
Will this season go down as THE greatest PL season ever?

I wouldn't hold my breath the way the PL has been going this decade.
I like our signings though, if we could finish up Lemar and keep Sanchez then I will look forward to the season.

Re: Are we going to witness the GREATEST Premier league season of all time?
Nope.
Arsenal will still get dominated and overrun in the midfield.
Liverpool will still leak comical goals.
United will try to play football with Lukaku and lose all momentum for the first six months only to realize they just needed to hoof to him. It'll be too late by then.
Everton will solidify 7th place and still not get Europe for some reason.
Chelsea, City and Spurs. Top 3. Locked. Rest again will be nowhere close.

Re: Are we going to witness the GREATEST Premier league season of all time?
Certainly in for another entertaining one, so many new players joining. Man C should be even more exciting, but probably frustrating as always though, I hope their strengths can outweight their weaknesses, other teams will always be more balanced knowing Pep.
Mou definitely knows how to do things right and they should continue to improve and push for top 4, if Lukaku delivers they need though.
Pep vs Mou alone is entertaining, then add to that all the other big managers doing their thing, oh and lets see how Wenger does STILL being Arsenal manager, would be surprised if they can improve tbh, otherwise they will just get used to not being in the CL.

It's definitely setting up to be a fantastic season. Hopefully English clubs can dominate in Europe too. Chelsea, City and United (solely because of Jose) should be able to make some noise in the CL.

Let's not forgot david Wagner and his pack of sworn together journeymen, seasoned and hardened by survival in tundraic and cannibalistic extremes

The premier league is a joke, the premier league was the best between 2004-2008, with the great united chelsea liverpool and arsenal teams. Best 4 teams in the game alongside old Ronaldinho's Barça. Now, its interesting because all teams are terrible sides, thats why theres no domination

PL dominance lasted longer than 2008, they had an english team every final until 2012 (excluding 2010)

How is that "pl dominance"? They had two teams in the semis in the three years from 2010-2012. That's two teams having a good year each, nothing more.

By that logic no nation has had dominant years ever.

Mole please.
2/12 semi final appearances from 2010-2012 is just not dominant. Spanish teams have 2 teams in the semis every year and the same was true for the PL when it was actually dominant.
No one would even think about calling the german league dominating the CL just because Bayern is a great team that regularly makes semis and finals.

Not really. Who has come in to the PL this season to make it a better league? So far only scrubs and unproven players. Same league transfers like Lukaku don't really make it better or more exciting.

Every year it's the same thing. EPL will dominate Europe. Then the Spanish show up.

These things happen in cycles. In the 90's, Serie A was the strongest league in the world and they were raping everyone in the CL. 00's was for England. This decade has belonged to Spain. Their cycle will end soon. Barca is already in decline and I don't see Atletico making another semi final.

Barca are not in decline, they nearly matched the overwhelmingly best club in the world in La Liga. Plus there is Atletico that would walk the EPL.

"Nearly" cannot kill a bird. They could lose next season's La Liga by goal difference/head to head or by 30 points and guess what they'd still be called? Runners up. Not champions. They should have been knocked out in the QF is PSG weren't such bottlers. They won't be so lucky next year.
And they're already starting the summer in style by going after Paulinho, a Spurs reject. Decline.
