Re: 2017/18 English Football League Carabao Cup and FA Cup thread
It is so ridiculous that people are more outraged about what Fimino may or may not have said and not the blatant intent to injure, push from behind, into the boarding no less. Had some one done that to me in a game, i dont know what my spur of the moment reaction would have been, but probably a lot worse than whatever Firmino may or may not have said.
Is it worse to call someone without a know father a SOB or to call someone a MotherF&&&er, even though their mother is a saintly, tea drinking, church going choir snger, than to call a coloured person the N word? I personally would be more bothered by a personal insult (or assault) than being called kraut or honky (i know not the same as nig*&^) or white trash or anti Semite or whatever generic term is used to put down "my people".

David Luiz is back! Ok, to be fair, the pass to him was a bit of a hospital pass, but none the less, I like him and what he tries to do sometimes. I hope he does not get verbally abused by someone and gets called "side show Bob"

Yup, he really is back, gets his yellow for an unnecessary challenge, in the middle of the pitch and still in the first half.
Bit of a "German feel" to Norwich, apparently they have a German coach and they have Klose. No not that Klose, the German/Swiss defender, who I assume makes more in the English second tier than in the poverty stricken Volkswagen factory team?
Norwich doing quite well vs a half decent Chelsea squad (no Hazard, Alonso Fabergas)

It is such a shame how the Bundesliga has become a selling league in the past few years and it is not just the top guys like deBruyne, Ozil, Kroos, Marin etc or the good young guys like Sane, ter stegen, Marin etc but journeyman guys like Klose, or Gross or Choupo Motting etc

Coaches like Wagner going to the 2nd English league while Bundesliga top clubs like Schalke have to go poaching for 4th division managers who were 9th division players

Re: 2017/18 English Football League Carabao Cup and FA Cup thread
I sometimes cant help but think owners like Abramovich want to play FA cup replays for the extra$$$.
Was hoping after the 1st half that norwich might pull off an upset, but nothing happened in the 2ndhalf, not even anything with David Luiz. Not one FA cup upset today. no I dont consider Stoke losing an upset.

Forest deserved it 100%. Complete disrespect from us to play crap like Walcott, Welbeck and Holding against them. Their 18-year-old striker destroyed Holding and Mertesacker.
Ospina was our best player. Should say it all.

Wenger has won enough FA Cups to be the all time FA Cup GOAT. It's only right to let others have a go once in a while.

Man City XI: Bravo, Danilo, Stones, Mangala, Zinchenko, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Yaya Toure, Sterling, Sane.
Bristol XI : Fielding, Wright, Flint, Baker, Magnusson, Brownhill, Pack, Smith, Bryan, Paterson, Reid.
Truly an EU vs Brexit match tonight

Not watching, but IIRC Zinchenko is when you wonder why De Bruyne is so poor all of a sudden
