Not only did Neymar almost kick out the Malaga player's shin, he had the audacity to sarcastically applaud. As Hans said during International week, he'll never be as respected as Lionel.
Anyway, not sure what else does Real Madrid need but this is as easy as a La Liga season they'll ever get to win a title. How much points do they need Barcelona, Atletico and Sevilla to drop to wrap this shit up?

Real Madrid would have 96 points if they win out... Barca won with 91 points last season, 94 the season before and Atleti won with 90 points before that.
So Real Madrid''s performance is right in line with the past 3 seasons tbh.

What happened to Valencia??? Haven't been following them for a while. They put a decent run of results and are currently mid-table.

Neymar did NOT get a straight red, but a second yellow -> red
( http://www.laliga.es/en/live/temporada-2016-2017/laliga-santander/31/malaga_barcelona ,
That means, he actually did this completely unsporting challenge, going only into the man with ball away, already booked.
It takes a pretty astonishing amount of insolence and sense of entitlement to complain about that decision, and badmouth the ref for it.
So while he would not get a longer ban for this being a yellow-red, I hope he gets banned nonetheless for his behaviour after the send off.
I don't think I've ever seen a team with such a terrible attitude towards fair play and the referees as this Barcelona side.
Messi excluded who is an exceptionally fair player.

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17: La Cuarta Parte
Iniesta too is pretty classy.
The camera panned away from the referee when he gave the card so people assumed it was red because that's what he showed when the camera panned back to him. But he says in his match report that it was a double yellow. Ah well. LFP have always taken a tough stance against verbal/non verbal abuse towards the referees. When Ronaldo sarcastically clapped to an official (in Mou's time iirc) he was given a 3 game suspension. Barca should know first hand how the referees give you red cards for telling them they have a nice haircut with Pique getting reds a few times. Still Neymar is immature and his red card is long overdue. Hetends to lash out when the fullbacks frustrate him. He can't take a beating graciously
Also Barca moaning about the referees week in week out is starting to get irritating. Enrique moaned about Neymar's first yellow instead of giving him an earful about how silly that yellow card was to get so early in the game. Neymar clapping like he has had some sort of injustice done to him. Pique moaning all season. I am just glad Xavi and Alves aren't there anymore or else they would have sounded even more embarrasing than Mou's brainwashed RM who too were blaming refs left, right and center

True. Iniesta is as classy as they come.
But he didn't start in this game so I guess that's why I forgot about him.

Yep. He simply does not have good attitude. Absolutely marvelous, exceptionally talented player but his behaviour is too unfair and negative for me to really like him.
Not to mention his and his father's greed cheated his childhood club out of many millions while putting the president of his current club out of office and almost in jail.
Global picture that emerges is not pretty.

They made some really good purchases in the winter window. Orellana is a massive addition to their team. Zaza isn't that bad either. Also their caretaker managerknows his squad very well

This been posted?
Granada have appointed Tony Adams until the end of the season
La Liga's Paul Merson equivalent needs to stand up for this injustice imo, doesn't know the league etc etc.

Yes but only if a Barca player does it. Everyone else gets a bow and a cone of ice cream.
Says so in RFEF guidelines. They hate Barca and are out to get you.

Depending on the flavour that cone of ice cream could be pretty bad tbh.

True. For example due to Uncle Flo's racism Las Palmas players will get cheap water melon flavoured ice cream which is unbearable really

Alright Hans, I have to ask. I seen this racism comment several times, I think mainly from you. I do realize it is in jest, but I'm puzzled as to the basis for this repeated statement?

Re: La Liga Discussion 2016/17: La Cuarta Parte
RFEF has finally learnt another method to affect results, first it was penalties for Madrid, then it was offside bias for Madrid, then card bias for Madrid, then foul bias for Madrid and then it evolved to situational bias for Madrid with all the previous. Latest is the bait and punish, Gil Manzano managed in one match to steal a penalty from Barcelona, let Malaga players push, hit and foul Barca players all game along without a yellow, and then gave two ridiculous yellows for Neymar to eject him and to get him to express 3 games more suspension. I mean Messi was deliberately fouled 5 times around the box, with zero yellows. And no one is going to investigate his ass, *bleep* RFEF, *bleep* Perez, *bleep* Real Madrid, *bleep* Spain, *bleep* Fifa, *bleep* Infantino, *bleep* Spanish king, *bleep* Fakenaldo and *bleep* every single soul who is involved or supports fake football and everything that is against logic and moral.
Now that's away, I think players should be allowed to express their frustrations towards referees in general, as they are never going to be investigated. Referees in modern game have too much power.
