Lamela has had a hip problem. Missing Lamela, Vertonghen and Rose I've been expecting a result like this for a while. It didn't happen vs City when it should have.

Where would Liverpool be without Mane this season?

He's absolutely by far the most important player on the team. Offense flows through him

What a shocking game, ever interesting league this season. Spurs the poorest game they played and Liverpools best for a longgg time. Spurs so limited and exposed in this game? Or just them having a bad game?

if you take into account all of the ridiculously unlucky dropped points, and I'm not talking the games where our finishing was crap, I'm talking games where we outplayed the opposition for 85 mins and then conceded, like the Arsenal game where they had 1 shot all game and scored at the last minute with a long ball to G-Rude, the Stoke game, the game where Fellaini came on and conceded a penalty in the 87th min, just pure unlucky games... we honestly should be right there with Chelsea all while dominating in Europe  (Chelsea have no European distractions)

it's been a strange season, I just hope we have something to show for it come the end.

Europe League final will be all English this year. Spurs vs United. Have you seen the teams involved? it's a joke

if we don't progress to the final it's because Mourinho fielded a scrubby team and I don't think he's that stupid, it's our easiest path to the CL

It's not like previous seasons where you had some decent clubs from the CL involved

I could understand Utd making the Europa final, honestly could see that. But Spurs? Spurs? Tottenham Hotspurs? The side that didn't take the UEFA Champions League serious would make the Europa final? Firenze, I know you're a top 5 poster these days but make sense nah.

brah even with a fringe team they should be favorites to make the final along with us. I looked at the list of teams in the competition and it's honestly quite embarrassing

basically just Utd, Spurs, Roma..maybe Villarreal and Bilbao. Easily the weakest EL in quite some time.
