I thought sevilla game was the best we have played all season but

This is probably the most complete team in Europe. Aerial dominance in CR Bale Ramos and even add pepe and Banz, have technical intelligent players like Kroos Isco Hames Modric Marcelo and still the best counter attacking side.

The scary part is, the team was winning when it wasn't playing well

It's a very difficult side to face for any team no matter what style.

Not surprised but very disappointed. Benzema killed himself out there, while Ronaldo was basically jogging.

He was the only one who didn't put as much effort as the rest in the first half.

Cr is such a disaster ffs. This team is so fluid on both ends without him. When we dont have the ball he just sits there watching and when we have it he either poaches the box or comes short to either pass it backwards, shoot or try to dribble and fail miserably. He's an awful football player atm and has been for some time now. We'd be a much better team without him both tactically and mentally

If modric was a food, he would probably be digital with the option of choosing any flavour, size and nutrient you want!

But you also lose that Aerial prowess. Madrid are throwing in Crosses left right and centre and it works massively in part to Crs Box presence. Take him away you lose that as a major weapon.

The most important thing now is that we keep playing like this consistently. I don't want them to give us two amazing performances against Sevilla and Granada and then go back to playing like they did against Kashima.

This level of intensity is just a joy to watch, and I have never seen our players this motivated and playing with this much intensity under Carlo or Mourinho.

It's true that in the first half of the season we were winning without convincing, usually relying on luck, set-pieces and individual brilliance to grind out wins. But ever since the Sevilla game, we seem to have finally found a balance between tactics, talent and intensity.

I really hope it continues because it's a joy to watch.

no team EVER consistently plays great all season. Every season has patches of better and worse form. To boot, some opponents actually have their word to say so you can't just impose what you want to do

The great teams still manage to win when they aren't in top form or when they face a challenge.

Beating teams like Atleti and Sevilla 3-0 is not normal. It shows greatness. Anyone who says that is what "normal" should be has their head so far up their arse that only surgeon can help him/her take it out.

Our midfield ffs Casemiro-Modric-Kroos is just bloody amazing as a combination. These guys are the most important players of this team along with our fullbacks. We lose them and we lose alot of quality. Lose anyone in the front line and no problem our back ups will play just as well

You can't play great all season, true, but there's a minimum below which Real Madrid should not go.

The way we played in the first half of the season, many performances were simply unacceptable, and I don't want them to come back.

Granada 1 shot on target all game (at the very end of the game) Casemiro be like "signed, sealed and delivered.......

Intensity dropped a little in the 2nd half due to all the subs we made very early in the half. But dont care as long as our starters get rested. If Carlo was our coach he would've slit his own throat before making a rotational sub at half time

Onto Sevilla we march on......

And we kept a clean sheet. A good day at the office for the lads I say.
