Wonderful half so far. The midfield 3 have been tremendous. We dropped off alittle bit atter the sub but a well timed goal by Hazard will calm our nerves in the second half.

The usual suspects playing great. Both Hazard and Bale playing better but still would like them to play even better

Areola has been commanding his box like a cop. So much confidence, I ain't even worried during set pieces no more. Hope we make the loan permanent. We don't need the best keeper in the world to win trophies but we need a good shot stopper and sweeper keeper. After Navas, Areola seems to be harbouring those traits. I am a fan

Zidane has to take some credit. He's completely revived Kroos and Casemiro. Just has to find their partner now and Valverde has put his hat in the ring with his performances this season

yeah superb half from Valverde, he is pressuring high and he is not shy to help to play from the back. Those runs he makes with the ball takes the pressure off the midfield and forces Granada back.

Carvajal on the left has been very good too.

Areola projects a lot of confidence, maybe more than his level would suggest, but it's not a bad thing. Fake it till you make it.

As a RM keeper you won't have to go through games were you make 6/7 saves. On average we have 3/4 against us, some from distance and some point blank. He won't need to be perfect. He's played 3/4 games and he's had to make at most 4 saves in all those, one of which was a 1v1. That's it. As long as he can continue helping the backline with his commandment of the box he'll succeed. Tibu will never be that goalie for us, I am sorry to say. That's not to say he's a bad keeper (imo he is) but he doesn't suit our football. He should join conte at Inter imo

No need to be sorry for saying it. Courtois has been extremely poor for a Madrid keeper since he came to the club, and i am always worried when i see someone taking a shot at him.

I was a fan of him since he was a young GK at Patetico but if you play for madrid and you are a liability then you must go. period.
