Less than 48 hours for this match.

Team news:

Henderson has done his heel, Not sure how serious.
Might see either Coutinho or Matip on the bench.

Sunderland on Monday: Kone, Pickford, Kirchhoff, Watmore, McNair, Gooch, Clattermole, Anichebe, Denayer all injured. Billy Jones suspended.

They lost 4-1 to Burnley today.

Might see a bit of rotation.

MIGNOLETINANYGOALS
Clyne Klavan Lovren Moreno
Lucas Wijnaldum Can
Firmino Sturridge Mane

Dunno could be anything, We might have a lot of cramps ffs. Worried about this game.

Would take a 1-0 win.

Sturridge and Origi will both start 100%.

Mane also will start since it's his last game with us before jetting off.

The rest should be interesting.

Both has been ruled out.

Klopp also said both Sturridge and Origi will play.

Hm hm hm...

I'm thinking:

TAA - Lucas - Klavan - Moreno
Can - Wijnaldum
Mane - Firmino - Origi
Sturridge

Maybe? Firmino will play I think since he missed a game or two and will be missing at least one game coming up for sure. He's also very fit.

Good option, but too many changes in the back-line; I would keep Lovren.

FFS Sunderland

FFS 2 Penos, we're lucky as *bleep* we didnt lose on 3 penos

FFS honeslty how does Firminho keep starting and play a full 90 mins as a passenger

FFS without hendo in the mid, can and wiji are horrible.

Honestly sturridge's play when droping back and getting the ball is horrible, he either tries to move forward and 100% of the time do a stepover and shoot on his left or he sits back with no one to pass to.

Honeslty Klopp has no idea how to deveate from our 443 that works when it isn't working. How does a team that could of went for the title actaully have no plan b.

Honeslty we are a Keeper(if both stay at this level), CB, LB, CM or CDM and a wide player away from a title if Chelsea keep playing like this next season and they all have to be starting quality.

Was disappointed earlier but meh. New Year don't care.

As long as we're 6 points or less away from Chelsea when they come to Anfield it's not a big deal for me losing 2 points here.

Can't really blame anything. 48 hours is just not enough recuperation time for the intensity of professional football.

Not assed.

Coutinho and Matip are back now and I'm happy.

If you look at this way, Sunderland penalties were fair and both our goals very fortuitous as well. We really can't blame the team. 19 games and 2nd on the table Proud

Its not but we're not even a Europa League competing team. We have no depth, Everything is progress this season. Get CL, Buy a CB and DM. Then next year the title charge.

I think something that many people might not notice is that the difference between Henderson in the holding role and Can there is absolutely massive. This season at the very least Hendo has nearly made himself irreplaceable with how well he's taken to his new role on the team under Klopp. For the time that he's out we're going to have some troubles I think. How many times did players get under undue pressure because of a poor passing decision from Can or even just a misplaced short pass. He's so easy to run around as he has the turning radius of a blimp. I'm not really sure what Can's best position is anymore tbh. We need to find a back-up for Hendo though that can actually somewhat replicate what he does and Can isn't it.

That said most of the team looked really tired for this one. Klopp should have made more changes.

So the only joy of New Year is Arsenal dropping points as well.

I don't mind the result. But I just can't accept the way we dropped points (SEVEN all together) against Bournemouth, WHU and Sunderland.

The gap was cut and they still have to come to Anfield.

I think we're in a good position.

Forget about this game. This winter garbage scheduling is always weird. Results don't really affect the run in. Half the season to go.

If we lose the league it will because we *bleep* up in the next 18 games not because we couldn't beat Sunderland.

It's because we keep constantly dropping points to teams like sunderland that we wont win the title. The players then come out and say we have to learbn but it happens again.

Anyways, Were prob ganan drop more this month as its a very tough month so 5 points is a lot.
