Yeah, their shitty p2p servers almost threw me off from the start. And nah, it's not just cosmetic stuff. There's this thing called "revenge mode", that allows your attacks to become stronger, and in some cases unblockable, in addition to granting an instant health regeneration and higher defense + various bonuses like, being able to knock people to the ground with otherwise weak attacks. On lower levels, you only gain defense mode every rare once in a while. You can get it faster if multiple players are hitting at you simultaneously, but it doesn't occur that often. However, if you splash some cash into the game, you can get gear that increases both the frequency of revenge mode + the power and def you get from it. Regardless of whether or not you spend the cash on the OP revenge mode gear, you can go from being a weakling to a heavy hitter or a tank in a short amount of time, if you spend some money on better gear and gear upgrades. It's just frustrating...

I'm not sure how to rate it. I've spent most of my time in the game doing side quests and killing random enemies on my way from A to B. So, yeah.. because I've been playing this game RG- style, I don't have a lot to go on. I like the soundtrack. It's pretty amazing, to be honest. The songs in the game are epic and super original, with vocal performances in several different languages, including languages that are either based on Gaelic, French, Japanese and Bulgarian, or completely made up. The fighting system is really fast paced and I'm enjoying it personally, although I've seen some people on the internet claim it's just simple button mashing. The world map is one of the things I don't like. it's probably the most clunky and impractical world map I've seen in any game, ever. Sounds interesting. It did seem odd even from the gameplay lol. Didn't think the best part would be the music Laughing

Yeah, normally I think the vocals tend to just distract from the beautiful instrumentals in music like this, but the vocal performances in this game are brilliant whether they're soft and mellow or more upbeat and scream-y, like in the video I posted above. Also, french.. :wub:

The soundtrack really compensates for the game's otherwise, mostly bland visuals. The amusement park is probably the only area in the game I've seen so far, that had a lot of vibrant colours. It's also the first time you run into characters that don't seem completely soulless. Still, the music playing in the background counts for like, 80% of the atmosphere and immersion.

God of War is 2018 surely? same with Days Gone, seems like the year will peak early

Cautious on Detroit because games like those are very gimmicky.
