Just checked out the Nioh trailer from the PSN, it looks almost exactly like ninja gaiden but in an older setting with more samurai than ninja hmm

Couldn't find a demo, does it play just like it?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I promised some colleagues I'd get For Honor, so I'll get that game regardless of whether or not I decide to buy other games. I'm really enjoying Yakuza at the moment, though. You should give that game a chance sometime.

For Honor looks kinda weird, like a cross between Onimusha and Dynasty Warriors but slower than both.

What appeals to me is that it's skill based, and it's an online multiplayer game. The slow pace of the game allows for more strategy and depth to battles, which I think is great, although I normally prefer more fast paced games. Hopefully, the more lightweight characters move and attack a little bit faster than the tanks and two-handed melee classes.

I'll probably go back to Yakuza in the autumn or something

man, I was not planning on getting that Nier Automata game but I watched some footage yesterday and it looks pretty good, thinking of getting it now

Nioh > Horizon > Nier > Mass Effect > Persona

think that's what I'm gonna go with but I imagine I'll get burnt out and skip at least two of those, probably Nier and Persona ffs, there are like two weeks between each release

I never completed the first Nier, but it seemed like a unique and interesting game. The demo for Nier: Automata was pretty cool. I've lost interest in Horizon Zero Dawn. Might pick it up, if it gets good reviews.

The For Honor beta starts tomorrow, by the way.

I played the Nier demo, it's fantastic i completely believe 100% in it.

Only reason i'm not getting it on release is because it's coming out in between Zelda, Horizon and Mass Effect lmao.

Plus i can't see it selling well so it will probably see a heavy price drop pretty quickly.

For Honor is great as well lol, i already know i want it due to the closed beta but gonna play the open beta regardless. Laughing

Seen Firenze say this as well and i don't really get why, don't see anything they have shown which would turn people off.

Why would you be interested before and not now, seems strange to me. Although you are all entitled to change your opinions on anything i just wouldn't see why personally, not like there's been some ubisoft style downgrade.

I read a thread on NeoGAF a month or so ago that supposedly leaked the story and some other info about the game and was whining that I ruined the game for myself if true and that my hype had gone down

Really itching for an open world RPG and then we have 3 big ones coming within the space of a month or so lol, 100% getting burnt out if I play them all

A lot of people on NeoGAF seem to think the trailer and other info that came out during preview event doesn't match up with the leak and assume it was fake.

We'll see i suppose, not really fussed though. I'm hyped to play it for the combat and exploring the world. If the story is more than interesting than that's a bonus to my expectations.

As long as it's fun to play i'm good.
