First leg 16 tie. Man City are favourites but Monaco has a chance to go through. Still, I think City will have too much firepower in the end. My prediction: Man City to go through.

Tie of the round imo. At this point, it's tough to predict who will go through. I think City will just about knick it through their attacking firepower although I sincerely hope Pep gets embarrassed.

Lol? Monaco may be in good form, but Pep has always made it past the R16, take comfort in that with your loveboy i guess, besides who's to say if the Monaco good form will continue 'til February? Likewise with Pep's bad form, for all we know the tables can be turned. Pep teams losing always looks especially bad due to the super-ideological playstyle.
But let's not forget they're still up there in the table, actually beat Barca, were taking Chelsea apart before they were outcountered.
They have a star studded team which will have surely one of Kompany or Otamendi back, possibly added another defender in winter, added new R9 Jesus in attack.

In the other corner, we have the AS Monaco.

Monaco DO have the type of team that can give Pep a lot of trouble. Defensively solid, athletic, will sit back the entire time and try to nick an away goal to win

Unless you're talking about us and that also probably applies. Also, still think Monaco would beat City. That is the sort of team a Pep run team has real issues with.

Hoping for Monaco to win this. But City will strengthen in Jan and Pep will surely figure his team out by March when we play these matches. Long time to go.
