Let's address the elephant in the room here, the reviewers weren't allowed to talk about the last third of the game due to "spoilers" - isn't that ironic knowing that the leaked footage has been out for weeks now for anyone to see. The last portion of the game is what a lot of people who watched it are mad about (or equally some saying that is the best part of the game). I don't think that is a coincidence.

I thought the leaks revealed some major twists but not the actual ending? At least that's what the director said:

“There’s all these theories about what the ending is but the ending is not out there. You actually don’t know how it all comes together.”

Some people have been able to play through the entire game, apparently. I was told that there are already reviews on YT, but I don’t want anything to be spoiled.

For what it's worth according to some Youtubers who saw the leaks and reviewed the game have stated most of the leaks were fake and said that it didn't impact their enjoyment of game because of this.

Sure it's just Youtubers but the ones that I've seen don't exactly have a history of bullshitting their audience.

They will be before release, you're overthinking it. It's merely because of spoilers. Pretty sure reviewers can talk about the entire game with Spoilers come Thursday.

Nothing to really think about and pretty standard for story heavy games, the guidelines for initial reviews for God of War were similarly restrictive

Enjoy it for the gameplay. I mean Uncharted games have the most basic stories but the gameplay and level design makes up for it.

For me TLOU story was done in the 1st game. There really wasn't any need for a sequel but i am not complaining to play another ND game. If the leaks i read are true than i am going to try my best and enjoy it anyways despite how it ends.

This might even be the last zombie game for a long long while.

Don't think it will brick yours tbh. Seen few reviewers say it runs surprisingly well on the base PS4.

Heard the game is 30+ hours which is great as the first game was like 15.

I'm mostly hyped for the gameplay rather than the story since I love zombies and sneaking around, avoiding detection etc. So I will probably replay this game several times over.

Well based on the reveal they did a month ago it would seem you're in luck..

Because it seems the gameplay is better.

They said they improved the AI, but then again these days developers can get away with anything for zombies with excuses like 'they're not real human, that's how they are intended to behave'.

Don’t think there’s a specific thing i’m most hyped about the game. Story & Gameplay was such a good combo in TLOU1.

Can only be just as good if not better.

Original TLOU came in 2013 so you would really think the gameplay must be better after 7 years Laughing

Considering how exceptional UC4 was, this would be even better.

My friend has his own PS4 and gaming monitor which I played with today. But I wanna play this in 4K HDR.

Oh well I got spoiled anyway, so I'm not as bothered as I was before on finishing this quickly...

I won’t have much time to play the game this weekend, but I got impatient and just bought it anyway. 93 gigs. Largest Playstation game I’ve ever downloaded, I think.

Oh damn, I didn’t realize. I pre-ordered that one and it was pre- installed when I started playing it, so I guess I didn’t notice. I played about half an hour of TLOU2. Will have to continue on monday Mad
