I can’t imagine Naughty would create a sequel to The Last of Us that’s anything less than very good. I don’t think I’ll get it for PS4, though. My console’s fan has enough issues with less demanding games, already.

Who cares about user reviews anyway? It's full of fanboys who haven't actually played the game trying to be edgy.

The large majority of gamers don't have a fucking clue anyway and are significantly worse than the reviewers they claim to hate.

Find reviewers you trust and go from there, it isn't rocket science.

I don't. Always use the companies that actually do this for a living. I detest user reviews in any type of media.

User reviews should just be removed from sites like Metacritic & Rotten Tomatoes.

Its naughty dog. You have 4 Uncharted games and the last of us to know what to expect. They are extremely consistent in style and quality.

The game doesnt seem to be drastically moving in a different direction (consistent with their track record). At this point you know what to expect from TLOU2, either it's your thing or it isnt. Reviews shouldn't matter much in these cases imo, unless it's some drastic unexpected change.

Let's address the elephant in the room here, the reviewers weren't allowed to talk about the last third of the game due to "spoilers" - isn't that ironic knowing that the leaked footage has been out for weeks now for anyone to see. The last portion of the game is what a lot of people who watched it are mad about (or equally some saying that is the best part of the game). I don't think that is a coincidence.
