I don't know the story, all I was interested was why so many rejected it after watching the stolen footage.

Will wait for reviews but I'm certain I won't like it as much as the prequel.

I think they cancelled the pre-orders because (according to the leaks) the story sucks, not because of some "cuck-friendly agenda" (whatever that means...). I've gone from day 1 to reviews just because of the negative rumors, but couldn't care less if the protagonist is a lesbian and I don't see why anyone should.

Some are criticizing Ellie's face, saying they delibrately made her ugly because feminists are against female beauty and the male gaze.

Gamergaters and the anti-SJW morons are the real snowflakes, getting offended from the most trivial changes in video games.

They used her voice actor for motion capture which is why she looks different.

Incels like these are why I am ashamed to say I am a gamer in public.

She was a lesbian in the first game anyway, people clearly haven't been paying attention.

The term here is more losers not Incels for incels implies involuntary celibacy and they don't have a quite general ideology behind them beyond hate and detest of how the world is against them.

It is fine is Ellie is a lesbian where I sympathise is if they do shoe-horn the political agenda that is prevalent in culture (example Disney/Marvel) nowadays. If things in such context are put in without context just to fuel their beliefs it is quite simply bad writing. The lead designer is open about his beliefs and Sarkeesian is a total radical moron. Best directors/designers are ones who can create content without letting their narrative slip in to a game. No one wants to be preached about an ideology be it the ideology itself or religion or anything on both spectrums of the political scale.


People do not want to see a political agenda put into a game/book/film given it is not needed let alone in a post apocalyptic scenario.

But screeching over her choice of what sex she is attracted to is moronic and cancelling the pre-order will not hurt their sales at all. We all know it will be a good game.

And why tf are people compelled to read the fucking story. If it is spoiled do you not have anything else to do but to seek the spoilers like an automaton? Just avoid them smh
