Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 7
two huge wins in a row for City and IMO they weren't clearly the better side in either of them, but all that matters is the 3 pts. They finish every chance they have atm. Let's not pretend City didn't have 3-4 chances, including that Bruyne miss that should have made it 2-0 and completely changes the match. Unreal miss that.

Fernandinho going at his Brazilian team mate for getting his knees almost busted out. What a donk.

How long a ban can we expect for Aguero? Surely that has to be more than just 3-4 games?

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 7
It's amazing how City lost this game despite being the better team
All those chances and they chocked in front of goal
Mindboggling when you look at the quality of the players they have in attack
I think Pep underestimated how good Chelsea are on the counter attack. City commited way too many men forward even when they were leading, they left their shaky back defense way too exposed. If you to do that again Costa and Hazard in this form then you are just asking for trouble.
If Chelsea can keep Costa and Hazard fit and firing for the rest of the season then they will walk the league.

I missed that,
Entertaining match. I am not anti-Guardiola, nor do I think he's a fraud, but right now he's facing a particular set of challenges he hasn't quite faced before. It will be interesting to see how he copes.
Conte is a bawss. Hazard back to his best. Costa is not as hate-inducing as he could be. Feels weird having a twinge of admiration for this Chelsea side.

Have to give credit where it's due. Pep is truly being a revolutionary and trying to win the league without any defenders.
Last time someone managed that was me on fifa13.

Biggest difference between this league and other leagues is the finishers. EPL has players in each side that can punish you more so than any of the other top leagues. City created enough chances to walk the game. Good thing Gabriel Jesus is coming. I think he can bench Kun.

Fernandinho going at his Brazilian team mate for getting his knees busted out, and then getting sent of because of it.

Otamendi goes to ground and commits to early and Stones decision making is sub par. They should get van dijk.

They will have to offer something stupid but they can.
Someone like Laporte might be easier though. Or Bernat even for LCB.

Inb4 Pep saying to the press in a passive aggressive tone that his peripheral vision is lacking and if Cesc really wanted the handshake he should have called his attention

Two veteran players like Aguero and Fernandinho getting themselves red card at the end of extra time is actually an absolutely shocking lack of professionalism.
Sergio Ramos at the end of the Manita level shocking.
